Tell me what type of recipes you’d like to see more of this year! Leave your suggestions and wish list in the comments section at the bottom of this post. 🙂

I start off every new year thinking about all the new recipes I want to share here on my website. And as always, I completely over-think it. 🥺 I spend hours going back and forth, my mind in a total whirl. What do I think you want to see more of this year?

More quick recipes recipes? More complete meals in one pot? More healthy recipes? More finger food?

Hi Nagi, and HNY! Id love to see some batch salads that are good for a few days.. as an empty nester I’m finding I don’t want to be in the kitchen everyday if i don’t have to be!! I would love some side options that can sit in fridge for a few days and I can just add some meat/fish to side.. thanking you in advance x

The struggle to put delicious healthy food on the table 7 days a week is real! In 2023 I would love more quick meal recipes. Also one pot or one sheet pan recipes are great.

Thank you for sharing your talent! I love how I can always rely on your recipes… real available ingredients, simple techniques (love the notes), and delicious results!

I’d love to see tofu recipes. Lots of folks believe a) tofu is flavorless/not good ,or b) you can substitute tofu with meat 1 for 1. — neither of which is true. I know your kitchen prowess can work wonders here!

    Happy New Year!
All your recipes are really good, I think for me I would like more mediterranean meals as they are always delicious but also healthy. If you could come up with something for one sheet pan meal that would be even better.
    Thanks Nagi

We enjoy crab stuffed dishes, such as crab stuffed chicken or crab stuffed haddock. Crab stuffing is much more than simply pure crab meat and we’ve not been able to master it.

    Hi Nagi and Dozer,
Thank you for your wonderful no-nonsense approach to cooking. I love it and am always inspired. Would you be able to offer some dumpling recipes (fried or steamed). Or empanadas or tamales?
Many thanks from Salt Spring Island in Canada!

I’d love to see some more middle eastern and African recipes! Maybe even some Eastern European foods. My college roommate was from Pakistan and she made this amazing dish all the time, I think it was kitchiri? Or something like that, it had fresh ginger and was a beautiful golden yellow color. If you know what that is, I’d love to have a recipe for it!

      Hi Sara,

Kitchri is dhal soup (lentil soup) cooked with rice. Its one of my favorites as well.
