It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi. I’m enjoying all your recipes. Now I would like to shift some holiday weight I would love either gluten free or low carb. I meal prep for my father and your recipes are my go to. Thank you
I was getting a bit worried I hadn’t seen an email from you with a new recipe. Love getting your recipes and reading about you and dozer.
Would love a lemon tart recipe, more sweets and slow cooker meals. I find some slow cooker meals just arnt as good as stove top or oven but the slow cooker is so convenient. I make 90% of my meals from your website. Hope you’re still considering publishing a book one of these days.
I would love to see MUCH MORE of Dozer….also more main course meals that double as DOG FRIENDLY…..please! My Setters will remember you in their prayers not just Dozer!🤗
More easy and simple recipe for busy working mom pleasee. I love all your recipe. Thank you
Hi Nagi! LOVE your site (and your mum’s Japanese side site!!!)
Would love more vegetarian and fish/seafood recipes! Within that, if you have any tricks with preparing fish – I find this to be what scares me off buying a hole fish from the markets – what do I do now??
Also love complete menus for when we have people over again !!
Obvi, more Dozer!!
Thank you xx
Dear Nagi – this got me thinking what do I want – as your food site is very good and usually inspires me with what to cook/adapt.
So freezer friendly meals and meat free/reduced meals would be great.
As a working mum, i would love to see quick healthy meals that dont need a lot of cooking time.
Hi Nagi & Dozer 👋, we love all your recipes but would welcome work lunch ideas, anything Asian and a recipe for vanilla slice would definitely make my year ☺️
Happy New Year Nagi! I have just had your delicious Biriyani for dinner….yummo! My family and I love all of your recipes. I would live to try a curry ramen and more Vietnamese and Korean recipes. One thing I would LOVE is if you brought out a big fat hard copy cookbook with photos. I think I would buy a dozen copies to spread the love of your food around 😋❤️
Hi Nagi Dozer happy new year and thank you for the recipes and Dozers pics so make my day 🐶.
Hi Nagi, Happy New Year! Your blog has changed my menu forever. I love trying all your recipes. And of course I love news of Dozer. Pretty much stay the same but I would love a recipe for clafouti – almond meal if possible. Peach clafouti, plum or any other fruit. Thank you for your humour and hard work in the kitchen. I know you love it but it brings so much pleasure to thousands of people
I would love a really good octopus marinade… garlic , greek or Italian style…
We have a ripper of a family recipe, it is on the recipe list!! Do you do large or baby octopus? 🙂 N x
All of the above, great variety. Have loved everything so far, many of your recipes are on our regular rotation. Trying a couple of meat free meals a week, so more vegetarian?
Greetings Nagi! love your recipes! Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I’d love to see a recipe for curried chick peas. I’ve been summoned by physicians to start eating better and I need to incorporate better & healthier food choices. Perhaps some vegan dishes would be another great idea.
Hi
I love all your recipes but I’m not supposed to be having any sugar but natural sugar and non dairy. So if you could please do some of these recipes, I would love that. Thanks
The only thing I can think of that I’ve thought a few times is ‘I wish she used a thermomix for this’ 🙂 type thing sometimes but that is a complete wish out of laziness by me otherwise love your dishes, haven’t had a fail yet and recommend you to everyone
I LOVE your posts, don’t change a thing! I like reading the posts, knowing that a treat is in store – Life of Dozer – such a lovely dog!
Happy New Year to you both
I really missed you, hoped you were both well
I just love you Asian recipes…
You are a gem…love you
Glenys
Love your site, recipes, and humour. I am happy for more of the same -)
Hi Nagi,
Love your work and Dozers input is always valuable.
I would love more set and forget recipes. Whether it be oven tray bake, pressure cooker or slow cooker.
