It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Honestly can’t thank you enough. I think you are incredibly generous offering so many amazing recipes to us. I think that your warmth and down to earth manner comes through in everyone of your recipes. I just love all your notes and substitute ingredients….I don’t know how you do it but I have never read/ used more forgiving recipes and absolutely everything tastes amazing. I have met so many that sing your praises – thank you !!! You have also gotten me out of that not wanting to cook rut many a times. I feel rude asking for anything given how much you already offer but I would love some bao bun filling ideas. I know I could find bao bun fillings any where and I have but I know yours would be even more incredible. Also would love a little collection of recipes ( probably ones that you have already shared ) that you can use when friends are in need of a little support , maybe things that will travel well and be heated up when they can eat it … little care packages … suggested recipes for when friends have had a baby, just moved in or ….. been given some awful news. Honestly thanks a trillion.
Love your recipes, use them all the time. Would love some more recipes that are heavy on vegetables. My partner and I aren’t vegetarian, but want more vegetables in our lives and it’s harder to find true and tested recipes that are choc full of veg!
Love your work, happy new year!
Definitely freezer friendly meals. I would also love to have all your spice mixes on one page and tips on how much to use for certain proteins.
Hi Navi, please can you give us some quick, fast and tasty stir fry recipes. Also some great tofu and vegetable recipes and what to serve with them quinoa etc…thanks so much.
Happy New Year Nagi !!! Are you able to find old recipes? Back in the 80,s I made an amazing AWW recipe for me then new husband and I can’t find it. It’s basically prawn and gazpacho served in a fried bread basket . So yummy – think it was from a Dinner Party Cookbook (3?). I want to make it for hubby again for our anniversary – TIA – understand if you can’t help
Best wishes,
Sheryl
My number one request would be a hard copy recipe book – would love nothing more than to have a book by you on my shelf!
Otherwise, more banquet meals or dishes from different countries that are perhaps less commonplace!
Love all your recipes Nagi thank you! Would love more recipes for vegetarian main meals that are not curry (the kids won’t eat it much 👎) thanks for the opportunity for suggestions!
Hi Nagi, love your recipes (no knead bread is my favourite) but I’m trying to eat healthier, lower calorie meals now as shedding those extra kilos is not as easy as it used to be.
Slow cooker recipes! It makes my house smell lovely and I’m starving all day knowing dinner will greet me.
And for a specific recipe, American style English muffins! Not the close texture puffy things that most recipes pass themselves off as proper Thomas’s type. Yum, I can’t buy them here in the UK and I’ve tried every recipe. They would make lovely additions to eggs Benedict and breakfast muffins and just dripping with melted butter 😊
Hi Nagi, I love your recipes, I haven’t yet tried one that wasn’t inredible! I love that you include the nutritional information. If I am looking for a recipe for something I always try your website first.
I love the work lunches idea and more “you won’t believe it’s only ___ calories” would be great too but I love what you do and appreciate the comprehensive notes on substitutions and why certain ingredients will have a particular effect on the recipe. You have taught me so much. Thank you and bring on the cookbook!
Just discovered you and so happy with all your recipes I’ve made so far! I would love to learn how to make tau yew bak. Are you familiar with this dish?
Hi Nagi & Dozer, my husband and I recommend your recipes to everyone, they are delicious, easy to prepare and our whole family enjoy the meals… I’d love keto recipes, low carb, high protein, breakfast and lunch ideas… and I was wondering if you have a Thermomix? As I convert most of your recipes… thank you, you And Dozer are wonderful xx
Hi Nagi,
I would love you to do some gluten free stuff. I’m a Coeliac ….I love your recipes but when baking it needs a bit more adjustment. Many thanks
More slow cooker recipes please. Love your email s
Hi need a good bread pudding recipe pref made in remekins
Hi Nagi, you have a fantastic mix of recipes but more vegetarian would be appreciated. Ok I won’t ask for banana loaf but have always hoped you would because I know it would be the best 🙂
I love your recipes, Nagi. They are always packed full of information regarding ingredients and methods.
I have fructose and lactose intolerance so I constantly need to revamp recipes to exclude fructose, mainly onion, garlic and wheat. Lactose free is easy to deal with but fructose is in just about everything.
It would be great to have suggested alternatives to onion and garlic so that the recipe is still full of flavour.
I like your idea of suggesting menus. I’d like to see more of that.
Thanks for your blog, Nagi

1. More dozer
– any food home cooked for dozer?
2. All U post => ideas
3. Any thoughts on sous vide – I have Anova which prepares magical “bleu” porterhouse.
Yep, I have a bunch of Dozer recipes!! I hope to get to them this year 🙂 As for sous vide – that’s not my area I’m afraid. I appreciate what it can do, but I just don’t do it myself. My brother, however, is quite good at it, and knowledgeable too. I am working on him to start sharing recipes on my website (he will be very useful – he is full of cooking knowledge far more high level technical things than me!) N x
Hi Nagi, love your recipes & Dozer’s tales! Would appreciate some low-carb recipes, quick & easy mid week meals, freezer friendly recipes would be good too! I really love that you include information on food subs in your recipes & nutritional information panels. Thanks for sharing your recipes ☺️
Happy new year from Melbs. We have been with you in spirit all through the last few weeks returning again and again for inspiration. I would be thrilled to see more high protein vegetarian ideas, ideas and knowledge of beans (an epic breaded spicy bean/veg burger recipe. I often try and copy one from a uk brand with ok results (GoodLife spicy veg burger) is gorgeous.).
Lunch ideas (high protein vegetarian for work would also be amazing. Thank you for being in our kitchen x
