Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Hi Nagi. Happy New Year! You inspired me to cook about 4 years ago and have been tied to your recipes ❤️
A few months ago I started eating healthier and been just cooking clean meals. However I’d love for you to jazz it up with some Nagi magic.
I don’t follow any blogs for it because they are. No Nagi.
Wishing you a wonderful year from a not so warm winters day in Florida. 😍 steven

As a single person I’m interested in recipes that have minimal ingredients and can be quickly prepared.

Recipes that can be prepared in bulk and frozen in meal size portions are also of interest

I must confess, I am fussy about cooked mangoes. I just don’t think the flavour does it justice! I have tried and tried, in savoury and sweet form. I prefer it used raw. The one exception is my Thai Mango Curry. SO GOOD! https://promotown.info/thai-red-curry-with-chicken-mango/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E

Hi! Love what you do. I’d appreciate recipes with lots of vegetables and beef. And anything with interesting spices that can be made in a single pot/skillet is always welcome. Thanks!

Hi Navi, we LOVE your recipes, even the picky eaters (kids) loves them and would clean their bowls/plates every time we make your recipe! The lentil curry, minestrone, Irish beef strew and the vegetable lasagna are some of our family favourites! Oh, also your carrot cake and tiramisu! They are the best!

With the COVID and not going out so much, we have started to eat more vegetables meals. Feel much lighter than meals with meat. We would love for you to have more vegetable recipes in the future (cooked vegetables, no salads as the kids don’t like salads.

All the best for Dozer and yourself. We love your recipes! ☺️

I love all your recipes, your my go to when trying to find how to cook something, as I know you’d have already made it. One thing I would like is an option to change the amounts of what is required from cups to grams. I love the slider to adjust the serving amount, but one that changed the quantities (if that’s the word) would be great, so then everyone is happy and I’m not stuck trying to work out what the different cup sizes mean xx Happy new year to you and Dozer xx

Thank you so much for the amazing recipes you have already curated, we enjoyed a delicious Nagi inspired Christmas lunch in Melbourne ❤️
I’d love to see more veg options and slow cooker meals. Plus echo the ideas of others about easy prep, I love cooking but like everyone else, would love extra hours in each day so any shortcuts greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to detail and generous sharing!
