It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi, I would love a recipe for tender, baby octopus and fussy kid friendly vegetarian dishes.
Thanks!
I love all your recipes and would love it if they fitted on one page when printed.
Nagi, love you, dozer and your site! I’d like more vege less meat recipes, fish and recipes that I can veganize (2 vegan sons). Merci from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Hi Nagi, Happy NY to you and Dozer. I use your recipes all the time! From a health perspective, I really would love to see more low carb, low fat, high protein chicken, fish and plant based recipes. Thank you so much for all the hard work involved in providing the most fabulously successful recipes on Recipe Tin Eats.
Hi Nagi, thank you for all the wonderful recipes you share. I’m in the UK in national lockdown and mid-winter, helping with homeschooling grandchildren. So I’m going to ask you for the impossible! Food that’s healthy but comforting for cold days.
We are eating less meat and carbs to try to slow the weight gain. Slow cooker recipes welcome. Thanks again, Sue.
Happy New Year Nagi & Dozer! I would like more vegetarian dishes, including salads. Low carb vegetarian would be good if possible.
I love your website and posts .
I’d love you to write a book !!
I’d also like a Thai banquet please.
And I’d love any noodle dishes – just like the takeaway – if you could do a theme each week that would be amazing across different countries .
Thank you for your amazing recipes and cheerful emails ❤️
Thanks so much Nagi for your wonderful recipes.
I’d really appreciate some ideas fir preparing a decent meal on very hot nights.
I love your recipes. You are the best food blogger. Your recipes are easy to follow. Once I made them I am so impressed with my self, I can’t believe I have actually made that food. I would like more vegetarian but tasty dishes . Thank you
Hi Nagi, you are my go to gal. Would love to see more quick and easy recipe ideas without soy, fish or cucumbers (like dozer)
Hey Nagi, glad you guys up there on the Northern Beaches are out of quarantine at last – what a tough time for it to happen.
I’d love to see more wicked curries like two of my favourite of your recipes: the lamb rogan josh and the eggplant curry. So some more “out of the ordinary” curries would go down well over here in Crows Nest! Or how about an authentic malaysian chicken curry? AFAIK you don’t have one of those yet.
I know your recipes are very easy to adapt but some aimed at cooking for one would be most welcome.
Nagi, you are God’s gift to us. Thank you so much for all your recipes, you are my favourite cook ever and your website is hands down the best.
I would love some more slow cooker recipes and some more low cal meal options.
More Dozer too 😉
Thank you x
I’d love to see more vegetarian meals although the meaty meals have been a lifesaver for me as my boys eat them and I’m a veggie! So it might be nice to make something veggie just for me! Love your work Nagi!
Hi Nagi, I stumbled across your website some time ago and absolutely love your recipes, explanations and videos, also love Dozer of course. I would love to see more recipes that are quick and easy but made for two people. Would also like ideas on what to serve with mains and lunch box ideas for an on the road male. Thanks for all your work and the opportunity to tell you what we would like to see more of.
Please can you post a real authentic Rendang of Cape Malay curry.
Happy New Year Nagi
Hi Nagi 🙋🏻♀️ thanks for a great 2020 (food wise)
as a full time working mum lunch ideas would be great along with freezer friendly as some foods only me to eat them and definitely more Dozer 🐕 that I could never get tired of 😁x
Hi Nagi, huge fan of you. I love all of your recipes. I would love to see little videos more based on cooking techniques even! I trust you and your way of cooking it would be fun to learn more. Ie. IG reels
Fruit tart, croissants, french pastries, more cakes, apple strudel
Chicken katsu curry
Have you seen my mother’s Katsu Curry recipe? It’s soooo good! https://japan.recipetineats.com/katsu-curry-japanese-curry-rice-with-chicken-cutlet/
Cakes are definitely on my list, I have a fruit tart recipe ready to shoot, and apple strudel is on my German Week list! 🙂 N x
Hi Nagi
I love everything you do so more of the same for me.
Just read someone else’s suggestion re: knife chopping hints, think that would be handy to know.
Otherwise, I look forward to 2021, give Dozer a pat from me.
Oh! I love that idea. I would love to show how I chop essentials, like mincing garlic, dicing onion etc. Fast. Without risking my fingers! N x
