It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Highlighting local produce in any shape or form, working on a large farm that provides amazing seafood I think in these times the more local produce consumed helps us all, no matter we’re in the world you live.
Your Indian recipes blew my mind… need vindaloo please please please!!!
Being a MM (mere male!) with 4 young kids to feed I think it would be great to know the number of mouths your recipe quantities will feed. Quantities for 4 would be great! The kids loved your cheese & macaroni but there was only just enough for 5 – with no seconds! Cheers
Hi Nagi. Smaller portions cooking, vegan dishes, love the Japanese recipes. Love your dishes. Xx
I am after quick meat and salad meals. I am allergic to chilli. Your recipes are beautiful.
More one-pot meals please!
If you have passion for cooking and gardening, can’t think of anything more useful than growing your own chillies (you use them often!). And to make it more exciting, you can train them into bonsai – bear in mind that bonsai fruits are of normal size!
More vegan please
love to see noodle soups and noodle dishes
Hi Nagi. I made your chicken biriatti for my dad who’s 88 and been in lockdown since March. I take him meals and he saw your recipe and requested it. It was fab. In England here the virus just gets worse. I hope you ok and your beautiful Dozer. We have a rescue beagle called Sam. I would love more vegetarian recipes as we are not earning much at the moment. (Musicians! No pubs or festivals at mo) Great recipes and website. I’d love to do something like this as I love cooking
Tracy
I’d love to see more white fish advice – I love it but I tend to overcook it because I’m a bit paranoid about uncooked fish. Also more greens sides! I’m obsessed with a good side salad or warm veg salad… and lunch box stuff for gluten free, egg free if possible? Hubby and I are huge fans and thanks for asking!
Nagi I love all of your recipes. If I follow exactly there is never a failure. Love the substitutions and the notes.
Thank you
Judy
Hi Nagi. Absolutely love your recipes! For 2021 could you do more family friendly vegetarian and meat less recipes?
I love your recipes Nagi and always look to your website when meal planning!! I would love a recipe for Pastitsio or any other Greek recipes (I have an old women’s weekly Greek cook book, but I’m sure you can do better). Your moussaka is my favourite!!
Hi Nagi, Happy new year to you and Dozer.
I would love low carb/ low cal recipes. Thanks 😊
You’ve turned me into the talk of the town Nagi with your never fail recipes. Thankyou.
This xmas I gave out your delicious Chinese Brown Sauce. What a hit! I’d like to see more sauces please.
Have a great ’21 Nagi and your followers. But I’ll admit, ’20 gave me far more time on the chopping block 🤣
Hi Nagi. I’m a huge fan of your recipes, so reliable. I’d love a recipe for the Greek mixed roast vegetable dish Briam. I’ve tried several versions, Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein and other Greek recipe sites, but they vary greatly. I love the Greek flavours and would love a Briam recipe from you.
Many thanks.
Hi Nagi and Mr D!
Would love to see more Japanese recipes, Taki Yaki, etc. Also Chinese, or any easy Asian recipes. God bless Mr D!
Absolutely love your site, it has been a godsend over 2020 (and now 2021) There is a recipe I have been after for years. It first appeared in Womens weekly or family circle in the 90s. It was a Frozen Chocolate Chesecake. It was a combo of vanilla icecream, cream cheese some egg and chocolate concoction over a choc biscuit base. Was the best, but have never been able to find ir nor reproduce it properly.
What is this you speak of?? It sounds magical! That just got added to my list. Sounds like a semi Bavarian type cake?? I see Sara Lee – but homemade! N x
Hi Nagi, I love your recipes. I love the way you present them and that one can change the quantities easily and your notes are always very helpful. As the lovely loving owner of two beautiful labradors now gone to doggy heaven I love hearing about and seeing photos of dozer. I would like to see more slow cooker recipes, more low calorie diet recipes and what to do with leftovers, the ham ones look great
Hi Nagi
I would love any recipes that don’t have more than 5-6 ingredients please. My enthusiasm and expertise wanes after that. Love your site and of course Dozer
