It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi
I love your recipes and the quick videos are brilliant, so you can see how things should actually look too. The notes/tips are often really useful and like that we can vary serving numbers.
My vote would be for more vegetarian dishes and a section around “low fat and quick mid week meals” (to include vegetarian options too as often quick meal recipes are meat based). Also some more seafood / fish recipes would be great. And alternative carb ideas as I use a lot of pasta / rice. And some easy low fat deserts.
Take care
Diane, UK
Hello Nagi, this is my favourite recipe website…to be honest I don’t use any other! I would love to see more low fat recipes and some FODMAP friendly recipes please. Many thanks, and look forward to seeing what you have for us this year
love all your recipes please more meat, fish and salads and keep doing what your doing it’s great more Dozer too
I am one of the ‘silent’ followers of your posts and I find them interesting and informative. I am not a dog person so I can live without Dozer stories but each to her own. I agree with Charlotte that, in these days, of international travel restrictions more travel food experiences. But really, I love what you do! Suzanne

Hi,I would like to make the sauce used on combinatoin omlettes and also how to make steamed duck combination,as cooked in chinese shops,
Dear Nagi and Dozer. Awesome on the relaxing of the covid restrictions. Would love everything on your list, and something you have never made before 🙂
Your ‘love’ of Bananas makes me laugh. Ahh, Dozer, your pool time totally cool 🙂
Korean Fried Chicken! Such a favourite and I haven’t found ‘the recipe’ yet (because its not on your site!!) I also love the idea of banquets, I made my own Indian one choosing a handful of your recipes but would love some suggested groupings for Chinese, Indian, Italian etc.
Hi Nagi, what I want in 2021 is more Vietnamese and South American/Argentinian recipes as well as more “fakeaway” recipes…. I all love your recipes so I’m sure whatever you post will be delish!
Happy New Year ,Nagi!Have loved the recipes tried so far and recommended your site to lots of friends.
Seafood and vegetarian recipes are great for me, low carb( isn’t everyone on low carb?)
Hoping you stay safe, happy and in good health.
Hi Nagi. I love your recipes, recipetineats web shortcut is on top page on my phone. I would love to see lunch box ideas for kids. I am Japanese and mum for 3 boys, living in Australia. I find Australian tuckshop menu is very boring and not nutrient, although I find ordinarily ”Japanese mum lunch box” takes bit too much effort to make. I would love to see a recipe that is easy enough to make (or can be made ahead for few days etc..)looks yummy , and have good nutrient.
Maybe you can collaborate with your mum and create Aussie/Japanesey menu 🙂
Hi Nagi
Thanks so much for your recipes – they stretch me and add an new insight into cooking and presentation.
Am thinking of getting an air-fryer – maybe some ideas ’round this would be good?
Thanks again for a great source of ideas!!!
I really use your recipes and love them. Please can u do something that uses glass noodles. My friend gave me a bunch and I really don’t know what to use them for. Thanks.
Hi Nagi would love to see some recipes that include soda noodles, I just love them.
Hi Naggi,
Thank you for your straightforward recipes. I love your website. I would love to see some more air fryer recipes, simple lunch options that could be used for school lunches.
Thank you in advance.
Not so obvious diabetic recipes please, with meat and veggies and dessert too
I love all your recipes and your food philosophy, Nagi! Thank you!
One of my favourite things when traveling is eating my way through a city – especially street food. As our travel is limited, I’d love copycat recipes of travel favourites. You already have awesome Nutella crepes a la Paris, so maybe some Bak Kwa from Singapore, or Custard puffs from Sydney (Emperor’s Puff)?
That’s a fabulous idea Charlotte. I second this one. MAybe a street walking food tour of Rome or Seville?
I am an 85 year old great Nannie still eager to learn. I made your spaghetti bog a few days ago when grandkids were visiting me. I have used the same recipe for 64 years from a book I bought on our honeymoon but in future I will only be using yours. I put the extras in, cooked it in the slow cooker and it was superb. That is the kind of recipe I like. Economical, slow cooker ones with extras to make it the best. Joan xxx
I’d love some more complete meal one-pot wonders which are kid friendly. I have a 2 & 3 year old and we struggle with ideas for meals which contain carbs, veggies (bonus for hidden) and protein.
Love your site! Keep up the great content and your very Israel explanations, tips and tricks.
I love sweets/desserts so I’d be keen on seeing more of those. Also, maybe some recipes that are quick and/or use only a handful or less of ingredients.
Okay, I’m not sure why my phone autocorrected ‘easy’ to ‘Israel’. 🤦🏽♀️
