It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Just keep those pictures of Dozer coming. The recipes are great as well. Have a great year both of you.
I would like more vegetarian dishes, or recipes that pack lots of veges in along with a smaller amount of meat. I am trying to increase my family’s vege intake. Also healthier/lower calorie meals. Thanks!
Hello Nagi,
I love your recipes. I would love to see some simply work lunch ideas. And may be a few simple complete menus for special occasions.
Hi Nagi I’m interested in gluten free, low sugar and low carb. I also wanted to say I’ve made your GF orange cake and the chocolate all in one cake ( it’s like a batter) and people who have tasted them both asked for the recipe, best chocolate cake they have ever had. I added orange oil and covered it with Cadburys chocolate with orange oil. Tasted like a chocolate orange. Enjoy your time off xx
I would love to see some duck and/or quail recipes. Please and thank you…
Hi Nagi, I’d like less fish and a little more low carb, Happy with meat and veggies so most of your meals hit the spot. Slow cooker recipes also of interest. Thanks for your inspiring food ideas and tasty morsel recipes, So good!
Hi Nagi I have been a fan of yours for a long time. Love your recipes. Could you do more pork ribs? I’m in Canada and it’s winter here, so oven recipes would be awesome.
Keep doing what you are doing. You are sure are good at it. Dozer is one of a kind and I love his antics.
Keep safe!
Cathy.

Hi Nagi,
I have been following your recipes for a long time and I love the simplicity of them ,but,if I can ask for more slow cooker recipes and throw in a few airfryers too would be great.
Thank you from freezing Dublin.
Yours David
I would love to see a good recipe for Mud Crabs. I already have a recipe for Singapore Chilli Crab and looking for other ideas as well.
I would love to see “Porch Ready” ideas. We have been on stay-at-home, not lockdown but only necessary trips with masks. Gathering limited to those you live with etc for SO long. It’s really wonderful to be able to share so I need some ideas for those kind of foods – where whatever is easily packaged – can be left on a porch for a treat for folks, especially diabetic friendly goods and low sodium.
As many responses, I love your recipes and being a Golden owner (Bennett – Bennie is snoring beside me right now) LOVE seeing Dozer!
More of your humor, anecdotes, dozer shares…more of the same! Love your thorough tutorials, esp. on Asian spice and use of sauces, wine in cooking special ethnic dishes. I’m a novice there. U.R. a joy!
Hi nagi
Need to know more receipes to use oats for muffins.( blueberry, choc chips). As they shdstay moist & soft like ur original ones
I have loved (and shared) every recipe of yours that I have tried – just keep doing what you do!😋. And, of course, I look forward to the Dozer “antics” – your interview with him was very enlightening! Happy 2021!
Completely understand TASTE is your driving force, but for those of us who’d like to lose some kilos I’d love a section of the website for delicious, non compromised healthy low fat/ low calorie recipes.
(Also maybe some dinner party menus – starter, main etc. V. casual but would be great.)
I’m a discriminating foodie and love what you do. Well done you.
Love your site and your lovely personality. How about some sheet pan recipes. Hugs to Dozer.
It’s winter here and I’m looking for healthy hot breakfast easy to prepare maybe even the night before. Quinoa? Kasha? Overnight oats leave me
Cold.
I so enjoy your recipes & humor (and that you don’t mind when Dozer gets all the attention) 😉, and I enjoy the surprise of opening your email to see what you have chosen to post for the day. But if I had to choose, I would ask for lunch prep ideas – foods that can be prepared in batches for the week. Thank you for all you do Nagi!
Hi Nagi, love your recipes. We have recently purchased an air fryer and an instant pot so recipes using these appliances would be great.
Hi Nagi!
Long time reader and our family is addicted to your food – we make your recipes multiple times a week!
We try for meat free Monday’s but it does get a little boring so I’d love some inspo. Thank you!!
Ps a sneaky Penang curry would also be amazing!
