It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
I absolutely love your Asian recipes. I’ve never found others that are nearly as good. I’d really, really like to get a Kratiem prik thai recipe from you, as it is one of my favorite thai foods!
This is my go to recipe website! Would love to see more meat free options, in particular more recipes using beans. Also including a category for freezer friendly meals would be fantastic!
I look forward to your postings and have shared them with friends. I think you include a great variety now, so for me, more of the same!😘
I would love to see more one pot meals. Less clean up. Who wouldn’t love more of that!
I would love some more meal plans please – a vegetarian one would be beyond amazing!!
Your recipes are all so delicious. Thank you for all you do xx
Hi
Low carb recipes for two would be good.
More mexican too!
I think the bulk of my recipes are yours and my family love them!! It would be nice to have more freezer friendly and Asian and Asian inspired recipes. We eat a lot of a Chinese and Japanese food in my house. I would love to up my dumpling game and I haven’t found an easy soup dumpling recipe. But honestly just please keep up what you do!! Your recipes are amazing and always easy to follow with accessible ingredients
I would love you to do meals for one or meals for two ( with option to freeze one).
Recipes I can make ahead please! Work-friendly lunches, salads that will last for days and big-batch meals I can cook up and freeze
More recipes for healthy snacks That can be eaten immediately or can last a few days
I would love to see some great vegetarian dishes as I do not eat meat yet I eat everything else. And I love Chinese food without meat if possible.
And a calendar of Dozer and you for the year…I will buy it if you can get one out to us. He is a gorgeous furbaby and I am a furbaby momma big time. Thank you for asking us about what we would love to see.
There is not a day goes by that I do not look for inspiration on this site. Am yet to cook something that fails or tastes horrible. As I meal plan weekly would love low calorie carb dishes. I also observe lent each year and would love recipes that I could use.
Some air fryer recipes would be great or instructions for cooking in an air fryer in the notes. Thank you from Perth WA for your recipes. The antics of Dozer bring a smile every time.😀
Hi there I love your recipes! I’d like some more slow cooker recipes, ideally heavy on veg, beans and pulses. And some more soups would be lovely. Thank you!
Greetings from Beaufort, SC!
We love your recipes, but since you are asking, how about more Indian dishes and more fish dishes!
Love, love, love everything you do! I’d love to see more vegetarian recipes or recipes with more veg in general. We’re trying to cut down on meat this year.
I would love to see your ideas for fussy eaters or healthy kids snacks that are actually tasty and easy to make.
Happy New Year to you and Dozer Nagi. Thank you for wanting to go the extra mile for us cooks. I find your variety of recipes refreshing and make most of them often. Last night was crispy chicken wings, potato wedges and your cowboy salad. My family is hooked on the sweet and sour pork and I like the fact that your quantities serves a family. I like the idea of a full menu now and again. Another winner for us is the Greek chicken, Greek salad and lemon potato wedges. I have my granddaughters hooked on your recipes too and the video clips is a great way for teenagers to learn how it’s done. Needless to say Dozer is always the first port of call! PS And I wouldn’t say no to another fish recipe or two.
Hi Nagi!
I’d love more gluten free treats (daughter Coeliac) and would LOVE more lunch box ideas 🙂 Oh and maybe more slow cooker meals for when life gets hectic! <3 Much love, give Dozer a cuddle for us!
Global cooking from countries rarely done before around the world. There’s a guy Cliffieland who has a YT channel but it’s not always successful, clear, tried and tested. Your format is way better and I think you would do a far better job. ie: Andorra,Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Butan, Camaroon, etc. I think it’s the coolest thing ever in cooking esp. for serious foodies !!
Otherwise, healthy work lunches my meat and potatoes hubby would actually eat, low carb meals.
