Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Hi Nagi. Far be it for me a mere follower to suggest things to you, it doesn’t feel right 😧 But you wanted suggestions. Sometimes I’m just looking for a quick recipe so maybe a new category for 15 min or 20 minute meals, or meal on a budget or store cupboard meals (would depend on what’s in your store cupboard, however a lot of your meals have similar base ingredients, so it could be from your store cupboard) you say you don’t follow trends but other than low cal, and Gluten free which you already have, some of your recipes could be tweeked to Keto style.
I live in Greece for part of the year and found your Greek recipes as good as some of my Greek friends cooking, so how about extending that range?
A separate category for salad dressings, bread recipes, rice alternatives like quinoa / bulgar wheat type accompaniments would be handy for when you’re looking for new combos which are not already in your suggestions.
I love your website and follow you on instagram and Facebook, keep up the good work xxx

Nagi, I love your website, but we do have some health issues and have to be more careful with food. The times when we could eat everything -and we did- are gone.
I would love to see more gluten-free recipes, more salads, and healthy cooking (on purpose) perhaps now and then some vegetarian dishes.

Hi Nagi – Thanks so much for a fab year of recipes in a not so fab year of freedom. For me I love quick simple healthy meals with easy to find ingredients including slow cooker ideas. I sooo love Dozer and his antics. A home without a dog is just a house. Cheers for 2021. Narelle

    Hi Nagi – Re : what I want 2021
I’d love to see more pickles, sauces and chutneys. Hopefully I can make ( and perhaps grow) and store. I’m trying to do less packaging and food miles.

    Hi Nagi,
As a busy mum who needs to throw dinner together quickly, any freezer friendly meals that are more green (less of the lasagna type of dish) would be amazing! And instant pot recipes if you have any!

We absolutely love your Asian Take Away recipes but I cringe a bit with the amount of sugar I have to use (doesn’t stop me tho! 😂). Do you have any alternatives or lower sugar recipes. Thanks Nagi.

Hey there. Love all your meals. always looking at tin eats for inspiration. I’m not saying your recipes are laborious or long but if you had a section of super quick and easy stuff for midweek meals where you just need to get something on the table pronto, but still as delicious as the rest of your stuff, that would help us out heaps !!! Cheers.
