Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Hi Nagi. I’m a light weight (52 kg) and I have to eat every couple of hours otherwise I get the shakes, night time is a problem. What healthy snacks could I keep handy to munch on when I wake up starving. I used to have 6 small meals from before breakfast until after dinner but since Covid in March, I find I’m eating breakfast then often forget to eat until dinner time. I love your site and Dozer is an absolute darling 🌹💕

Hi Nagi! I’m another one for complete menus, I love the idea of exploring different countries and cultures whilst taking into consideration only having one oven! I really would like you try a banoffee pie though 🙂

    Hi Nagi,
Great website & love your mini videos – find these really helpful.
How about meal plans on a budget? Where you don’t have to buy a huge number of ingredients but instead, look at utilising a few ingredients & also deal with leftovers creatively?

I’d love to see more modern cooking with healthy, vegetable, vegetarian, fish, one pot and most importantly low/no sugar, low/no fat, low/no salt recipes please. Not interested in meat or vegetable dishes with sugar nor cheese sauces nor cream or salt laden main courses. Love Dozer pics.

Love your recipes, love the breakdown, and the story behind it.

    2 things I’d love –
    1) easy lower carb recipes … I’m a carb lover from way back and find that carb meals are often super quick … would love some easy, low carb ideas; and
    2) more ideas of sides / full meal plan meals.

Otherwise – keep up inspiring us all to keep cooking fabulous, yet straightforward meals!

Thank you for all the inspiration you give me and so many others. You guys are awesome!!

Thanks also for the opportunity to provide suggestions.

Could you please create some healthy, hearty doggie goodies. I don’t actually have a pooch at the moment but I plan to get one this year😉. Thank you!😃

    Greetings!
Love your recipes. My husband is always happy when I tell him I got a recipe from you because he knows it’s going to be a great meal.
I’m on a very low carb, lean protein diet. So more recipes in this vein would be appreciated. Sugar and carbs are not my friend and I’ve lost 25 pounds by cutting them out. I try to compromise on weekends for my husband but recipes we can both be satisfied with would really benefit me.
Thank you! Have a wonderful new year.

Hi Skoo! You’ll find Molasses at Woolies and Coles -> https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/772966/mountain-valley-pure-natural-molasses

But no worries, it’s not a major ingredient! I’ve popped substitution options in the recipe notes 🙂 N x

I love, love, love your your site. I find it hard in general to find healthyish recipes with a flare. Stuff that’s gf and low in carbs and sugars.

Also, meal plans so I don’t have to think about them.

Nagi, you are my go to gal for recipes. Love how you write and how you instruct. Every recipe I try, and I have tried most of yours, come out perfectly. Recently had a dinner party and served your soft no knead rolls, smashed potatoes and roasted chicken. Had to share the links to your recipes. That said, my husband and I need low carb. I can usually adapt many of your recipes, but maybe more low carb. Keep up the good work and ALWAYS keep Dozer in the forefront! Adorable he is!

Ah what a beautiful opportunity. Thank you Nagi! Ready? Here goes:
Context: My cooking and health journey started over lockdown and I’d like to learn how to use every veg that exists in this world
    1) I’d like to see dishes with veggies as their base! I live right next to a market and want to throw all the veggies in a dish
    2) I also want to be able to use lamb ‘chunks’ if that makes sense? So without the bone, just the nice thick meat
3)Stews, stews and thick, rich stews! As many as possible
    4) I’d love to learn to use an artichoke
    5) Any tips on un-doing an overpowering Worcestershire sauce? (I accidentally slightly ruined my casserole dish yesterday when I got excited using the sauce for the first time haha)
    6) Any fish! I can only cook salmon and I really want to delve into the world of fish (maybe start with something simple as I’m slightly scared to begin this journey of fish cooking – the eyes freak me out)
    7) Healthy snacks! I always crave something sweet after my dinner – so a low cal high protein – or just generally hearty, healthy snack would be great
(Also, I’m tragically allergic to nuts and eggs ahha so no snacks including those as I know they form the basis of most healthy snacks)

Hi Nagi! Since my partner and I found your recipes, I swear to God every weekly menu we have will always have a recipe from you! Even my partner’s family loves your recipes!

Anyway, I would love to see easier recipe (like 5 easy ingredients) type of meals. And less carb if possible! I’m not a very good cook myself so I find it really challenging to make a good meal with so much things going on haha! Kitchen freaks me out lol.

And more greens if possible. I’m also thinking keto meals 🤔 or anything healthy I guess. I love eating so I’m not really strict with my food lol

Thanks for reading my comment. Always looking forward for your recipes! And dozer 😉
