It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Love your recipes Nagi I want to try to eat less meat (not giving it up) so would like some tasty veggie/vegan dishes in the quick and easy Nagi way !
Hello Nagi
Thank You for everything 🙂 I would love more greens and lunch ideas. I look forward to hearing about Dozier with every posting.
Happy new year Nagi!
1: more Dozer stories for sure 🐶
2: breads like challah, babka
3: more greens and beans!
More vegan please
I absolutely love your recipes and use them all the time! Your ebooks are great, however, I would really love to be able to purchase a physical book of your recipes! X
Please can you help me with something I have struggled with and never been able to recreate. Chinese chip shop curry sauce (from UK). Or a good recipe for Chinese (as opposed to Indian) chicken curry, Thank you very much.
First of all – your website (recipes, dozer, witty banter) have kept me sane and inspired during the many lockdowns of 2020 (and 2021) I’d love to see more gastropub Inspired food (your Parma chicken is on regular rotation in house now!). Also flavorful pressure cooker recipes (I have an instant pot). Middle eastern, Thai, Vietnamese… tagines?
Hi Nagi and Dozer!
Your blog is my favourite and always my first go to when planning meals.
I would love to see more fish dishes and love complete menus to take the guess work out of hosting dinner parties.
Always more Dozer, he is the best.
Thanks so much for all you do!
Nagi & Dozer:
You are my first go-to for recipes! I love your newsletter. For 2021 I agree with others – lower carb (I’ve got the Covid 19!) is good for ‘21, and one pot/slow cooker/electric pressure cooker recipes are always needed! And always, always, more Dozer! Virtual hugs to you, Dozer & your family!!!
can you do spicy squid n spicy octopus dishes? its my fav and i never really know what to do with them. id love a good selection of recipes i can use. please, if its possible.
More vegetarian main dishes and lower-sugar desserts, please!
I think you are doing a wonderful job providing great variety of cooking choices and styles!
I would like more simple meals with “regular everyday food items” .. plain meat & veggie things that my picky family will eat. Personally I would be very happy with almost all your recipes but it’s not just me here.
I love the salads and dressings you have given, very delicious.
Would like to learn more about Australian culture and your native culture as well (I am in Canada and have an Aussie penpal). Of course, we love Dozer too!!
Keep up the great job and thank you for your inspired ideas
Just wanted to tell you that I don’t even go to any other sites when I want to make a reciepe – you are by far one of the most talented chefs that I have the pleasure of following – your reciepes are easy to follow and tasty and I have yet to try something I didnt like!! And keeping up with that awsome pooch is just a bonus!! Be safe, healthy and happy always!!
Thank you Nagi! We have enjoyed so many of your recipes. This Christmas we tried your English Trifle recipe, OMG so good! It will now be our Christmas tradition 😊 We are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 we would like to see some kid friendly lunches that we can have at home while we’re doing virtual school and then some we can pack up once kids go back to school. Keep up the great work!
Hi Nagi and Dozer,
Happy New Year!
#1: Definitely more Dozer, just can’t get enough of him, he’s a big ball of fluffy and sometimes sandy, love.
#2: Any chance of some gluten free recipes or options in recipes? I know your Gozleme had the GF option, thank you. Would love to see some more of those if possible.
#3: more of your daily shenanigans, be they bloopers or random silliness, just to brighten our days 🙂
Vegetarian recipes that I would actually look forward to eating!
Happy New Year! Love everything that you do! Would love to see more vegan/vegetarian meals! Love to see your take on Vietnamese and Indian dishes!
We enjoyed your Mongolian lamb for the second time last night….. more lamb recipes, please!! A big WOOF to Dozer as well. Best regards,
Rav.
More recipes that use ground turkey or chicken. Or ones that have beef or pork provide if it can be substituted for turkey or chicken etc?
Hi Nagi and Dozer,
I love your recipes but sometimes have to make adjustments for the saturated fat levels 💣.
I would love to see more vegetarian main courses, preferably not loaded with cheese. My daughter is vegetarian and her food is tasty but death-defying!
I’m sure that Dozer won’t be involved in any veggie option so, I’m afraid that you will have to make him a fleshy version🐮
I’m in an area of Wales that has one of the highest rates of Covid-19 in the UK at the moment, but as I am high risk (age), I hope to get the vaccine very soon.
Glad that you are now able to meet up with friends and family.
Keep well,
Lynne
