It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Dear Nagi
First, thank you so much for the love and attention you give your recipes. They have been such a gift to a lonely single chic in Brooklyn NYC. Your recipes are the way I show myself self care and love!
I love your coconut lime salmon dish! My all time favorite so far (and I’ve tried a lot of your awesome recipes). It is possible for you to provide a vegetarian option for some of your dishes > like would tofu or soya be a better sub if you don’t want meat/chicken/fish? How should you cook that ingredient?
That’s all my feedback! Thank you again for all you do!
Low carb/healthy meals. Dare I say….Instapot meals/soups/etc 😬
All your stuff is amazing. Made your leg lamb roast at Christmas. Was a big hit. Looking forward to trying your new recipes 😁
Looking to make 3 days a week a keto dinner (and maybe lunch, too!)–any suggestions for easy, flavorful sides/veggie dishes to go with the meat? Please, I can only eat so many salads on a keto meal plan…I have to have something to look forward to eating! My USA Midwest/Scandinavian heritage food history just doesn’t meet keto standards 🙂
Thanks for all your great recipes, enjoy the Dozier updates, have a great 2021!
More Roasted beef or whole beef tenderloin recipes!
Happy new year Nagi! We just LOVE all your recipes. With lock downs and gym closures – we are more careful than ever about caloric intake – so some low cal recipes would be great!
Hi Nagi, I want to wish you a happy and safe New year 2021 with tons of health and I want to thank you for all your good recipes and good work and I love Dozer! xx
I generally try all of your recipes and you have yet to fail me once. However, your Indian curries are on another level altogether. It would be great if you could feature some more curries and not necessarily just Indian – there is Sri Lankan, Malay, Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, etc – you get the drift.
Dishes with mince meat that are different, would love to see your twist on bobotie and any alternatives to cottage pie/ lasagne/ moussaka.
Any meal I can quickly dive in the oven or allow cooker with minimal prep.
A two week (or longer) cycle of low calorie dinner meal suggestions to help not add to the waistline when one has lockdown weight to burn off.
I keep hearing about a delicious Canadian dish called poutine. I’d love your version on that and also beef burgundy.
More pasta dishes is always great.
Palak paneer recipe please
Hi Nagi & Dozer! love reading about Dozer, the recipes are pretty good too 🙂. Any chance you could come up with some low FODMAP recipes that don’t involve fish or cauliflower? Thanks!
More Dozer, we had Goldies, ours just died last year, still miss her dearly. More of your family’s recipes. Great work, keep it up and thank you for doing it.
Bay scallops with dynamite sauce recipe! It was a Japanese dish I had years ago at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and I just loved it!
always need more Dozer and more aps that are quick and easy
Meals which freeze well
& some slow cooker recipes please Nagi. Also, Lactose free meals. love that your recipes use pantry staples! Thank you
Hi,
Love your work and Dozzer 🙂 I would like more lunch ideas and dinner ideas that include healthy choices and low carbs! I’d also like dog treat ideas. Thank you and may 2021 bring you love, health and lots of fun !

I have dietary restrictions. One problem I have is finding desserts that don’t have eggs. I usually make fruit-based desserts, like pies and cobblers. I would like to try something different. Also, I live in a cold climate so hearty casseroles would be great. Thanks for posting during Covid.
You’re great, everything that i’ve tried from your site was delicious, so thanks. low carb options would be great and work lunch ideas 🙂 Love Dozer too.
I just want you to keep doing what you are doing! I’m loving your recipes. I found you through Good Food’s red curry fried rice in lockdown 2020 and haven’t looked back. I love your videos & notes. So helpful! I have a picky and perpetually starving 13 year old son who actually loves your recipes. We love curries and would love to explore some of the African/South African curries.
Please continue to include Dozer, we love dogs.
Love Dozer, I have two water mad golden retrievers myself, so relate to his antics! I’d love more slow cooker recipes and one pot wonders, more budget friendly recipes (seriously is it just me or is good getting crazy expensive lately!) I love a meal I can throw in the oven and leave to do it’s thing while I jump in the pool with the kids, and then toss a side salad together and call it done. Would also love some easy mid week vegetarian meals as have resolved to try and eat less meat this year. Love your recipes and look forward to trying more! My favs are your no kneed bread, magic broccoli, tuna mornay, baked Ziti, and salmon cakes. Huge fan here!
