Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Would love to see some “healthier”options that don’t compromise on the flavour you deliver in all of your recipes.
    Toddler friendly/family friendly recipes
Quick weekday meals, 1 pot meals, vegan/vegetarian friendly meals
Thank you for all the amazing recipes you have shared with us over the years. I know I don’t have to worry about wether my fussy partner will eat my cooking if it is a Nagi recipe!
We hosted a small birthday bbq for our toddlers 2nd birthday and all of our side dishes were recipes from you. Everyone commented on how beautiful our spread was, so thank you Nagi. You could never disappoint, and I’m sure Dozer would agree 😉

    Hi Nagi,
I love the variety in your website but would like to see more healthy recipes. I especially like the bowl concept including grains.
Also would like to see included some reports on Japanese kitchen utensils and where you can purchase them. I liked reading about the knives.

I’m mostly vegetarian with meat meal at the weekend. I’d love to see more vegetarian meals that aren’t sides, and instant pot (multi function pressure cooker) recipes. I would love some beloved recipes like meat pies or sausage rolls to have vegetarian options. I love all your recipes, the teriyaki chicken meatballs are the bomb!

Hi Nagi, I love your blog. You are always my first source for dinner inspiration. I’d love to see more quick meals: like sheet pan dinners (I bet you would cone up with some amazing combinations and flavours), one pot dishes, and also Buddha bowl combinations. My eating style has shifted this past year to more veg, beans, fish and less sugar and meat. Thanks!

Love looking at all your recipes and reading your emails!
I would love a recipe for Udon Noodle Soup. I go to the Asian Grocery Store and can never work out what I need to buy, apart from the fresh noodles of course!
Also, some LCHF recipes would be amazing.

Seeing more Asian inspired dishes is a plus for me. I’d love to see a non-veggie version of a pot pie. I’m not a pea, carrot, corn person, but want a good pot pie. Thanks for all you do. Stay Safe and Stay Well.

Nagi, I didn’t start cooking or baking until March ‘20 when your recipe for no-knead artisan bread arrived out of the blue in my in box! My husband and I love you ! So how about more lo+carb low cal , lamb, and fish dishes? Air fryer and instant pot recipes ? Regional recipes -any culture or country ? No matter what you decide to do, just keep on appearing in my in box and my best to Dozer! Shelley from Kentucky.

I love your website Nagi, you were actually the first one I started cooking with “in a different style” when I moved to Australia. Being from Belgium we have a very similar cuisine to French cuisine and the Asian culture and restaurants is way less pronounced in general in Europe that it can be in Australia. So you basically teached me how to cook Asian food, and use hoysin sauce or soy sauce without making it disgusting or taste like “European Asian food”! Thanks for that ❤️
But I have to say the reason why I don’t cook with your blog as much any more is before I eat also way less meat then before, especially beef and lamb 💔, for environmental reasons. My boyfriend being quite intolerant to dairy I end up cooking Vegan food must of the time and I’ve already looked for them but there aren’t many Vegan recipes on your website. Or, maybe vegetarian that can easily be dairy free/vegetarian?
I think that giving tips on your notes about how to make a recipe dairy free/nut free/gluten free etc for whomever needs it would be an amazing thing 😊
The animal proteins I still use a lot (as for the smallest greenhouse gas footprint) are Eggs and fish so any recipes with one of them would be fantastic!

Thanks so much for what you’re doing ❤️

    Hi Nagi and Dozer!
    Happy New Year!
I loved the interview with Dozer, and your Xmas selfies! Definitely more of those!
I love your recipes that you make SO easy, like oven risotto. Baked prawns. But I was wonder if you could maybe do some experimenting with indoor grills and air/crisper/fryers? I have a Ninja Foodi instapot, and a Ninja Foodi XL grill. I am a little hesitant and would love some Nagi magic in that department!
Also, thank you for being such a bright spot in our day in the middle of this pandemic. I look for your and Dozers posts. You always make me smile. It’s like having an awesome, long distance friend!
    🥰❤️
