Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Love your site. Absolutely howled over your interview with Dozer! That should become an annual classic. I love that you have substitutes and use ingredients most of us have. I love thevarioys ethnic meals as I love to try/taste international cuisines. I like simple of course as I am 72 and live alone. Sheetpans and one it meals are great too as are 20 min prep ones. But even if you change nothing, still love you as you always make it fun and easy

Hi Nagi! I love your site and recipes. I’d love to see more low carb Keto recipes, Instant Pot and Air Fryer meals as well as meal planning/freezer recipes in 2021.

I think all of your suggestions for meal planning and cooking Are right on the mark. I like that you like flavor. Low cal cooking mostly tastes bland to me and I think with your cooking skill and enthusiasm, taking off those covid pounds might be easier and defiantly more fun.

    Hi Nagi,

I’d like to see more videos on how your store & organize your food in the fridge: fruits, vegies, cheese, meat, etc. Also maybe some cool thick smoothie recipes? 😊🥬🥦🥥🍋🍈

    Thanks for all you do!

Hi Nagi. Great site and here’s a bit off the wall suggestion. Apart from your culinary skills you are also a great communicator with a natural talent for writing. So why not become an Author and write a novel incorporating food. Maybe a love story. Maybe calling on your Japanese knowledge. I’m sure you can do it. Best wishes and let’s hope a happy new year. Kind regards, Mike

I would like different soup recipes. I received perogies as a gift, what do I do with them other than fry with onions,. Meal suggestions using ground beef

Fry bacon on the stovetop, then cook the perogies in the bacon fat at medium heat, basting them with the bacon fat as they cook, Top with cheese, bacon bits and scallion.

Love, love your sense of humour and delicious recipes (and Dozer, of course)! When I saw that you previously posted an Arabian Nights Feast (which I somehow missed) it brought back memories of the many dinner parties we’ve had before a trip somewhere (Brazil, Mexico and most recently Southeast Asia). I would love to see more of those ideas please! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!

Nagi, your blog is the best! A perfect combination of delicious recipes, great photos and both light-hearted and thorough writing. I’d love to see recipes for Easy Dinner Salads, Low Calorie But Flavorful Entrees, a tutorial on Salad Dressings, Veggie/Egg Centric Meals, Tasty Appetizers, Recipes that include a shortcut ingredient like pre-chopped mirepoix, store-bought hummus, frozen vegetables, etc.
