It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Happy new year Nagi and Dozer!
I love that I can choose any recipe and I know I won’t be disappointed!
I would love some more instant pot friendly meals please. Also less carb options would be great. Thank you!
Hi Nagi,
OMG. All of the things you mentioned maybe with the addition of gluten free possibilities. New year, healthier eating and planning meals.
Please make more middle eastern dishes!
Hi Nagi!
Thank you for sharing as you do. I like seeing healthy vegetable loaded recipes and with that comes a lot of prep work. I’d like some tips on prepping! I have to say your bread recipe has been a regular in our home its so delicious we are addicted! Thanks again!
I love your recipes, enjoy trying them out stove, oven, slow cooker or instant pot. Meat, no meat, fish to pasta and salads. I have to tell you the Gingerbread men you posted in December were a great hit with the kids and adults that I distanced delivered to a few of my neighbours. We are in a lockdown now but I can go visit my Mom because she lives alone. I love your stories about Dozer. I don’t have a dog anymore and it makes me smile to hear you talk about yours. Wishing you a wonderful day from Ontario, Canada.
Keep doing what you do. You have achieved a nice balance on recipes interspersed with insights into your personal life and, of course, dozer.
I share the banana thing and am a meat and potatoes person. I grew up in Seattle, wa and love asian food, except coconut milk which is up there next to bananas.
Always find your recipes interesting and doable and have tried more of your recipes than any other, even the salads, so high praise.
Used your tip yesterday about teriyaki chicken in a dry pan. Works like a charm.
Recipes for the Ninja Grill.
The entire family likes what you’ve been doing so far. There are a lot of neat ideas.
Because our schedules are constrained, the different ethnic/regional recipes are always fun to see. It’s like we get to travel without waiting for school breaks.
Personally, I think the “work lunches” idea would be neat to explore. I’ve tried doing bento-style work lunches before, but the prep time on a work night was always rough. Assuming we do go back to the office, at some point, I’ll need to start coming up with work lunch ideas again.
I would was thinking the same as another subscriber, more low carb/keto recipes, air fryer recipes and slow-cooker meals. Every recipe that I have tried of yours, has turned out fantastic-So THANK you!!
Ooh more dozer pleeeeease he brings me a smile every time I see your updates. healthy Or prep ahead work lunches would be great too! Also I know it’s just personal from me but I’m allergic to dairy products and a lot of your recipes include alternatives or aren’t cream heavy so I wanted to thank you for that I love your recipes!!!!
Your the Best!!!! We so look forward to what you have in store for us. For 2021 let’s try being more healthy! We are trying! So, that means lower calorie, low fat, low carb, lots and lots of veggies, no desserts, more chicken and fish–less red meat and re-designed “Classics” that are much more healthy than the original. Naturally, more Dozer as we are animal lovers! Thanks again for all you do, you are appreciated!
I love your site, Nagi! It’s the only recipe site I follow! Great recipes, written with warmth and humor, and lots of Dozer for us dog-lovers!! :0D Thank you for all your hard work! Hmmmm, my requests? I would love to have the recipe you use for Dozer’s food. I am also planning a “Hawaiian Luau” for my daughter’s graduation this year (Trusting that covid will be under control by then) and would love Nagi-approved recipes to use. I think more veggies would be good, slow cooker, sheet pan, and soups….I tend to like simpler recipes without a ton of dishes. :0P Really, Nagi, we’ve tried MANY of your recipes and we’ve loved all but one. That one we still liked, but just needed to “tweak” it a little for our tastes. This is truly the most-reliable (and enjoyable) cooking blog I’ve seen, so I stick with it. I smile when I see the e-mails come in, and I ALWAYS have to check on Life with Dozer, even if the recipe is something my family doesn’t care for (like prawns – though, sometimes, I’ll sub chicken for the prawns)……..And, I’m so glad your restrictions have been lifted! We have been praying about covid and all the people it is affecting and hope that this will soon be behind all of us. – Hugs!
P.S. I also enjoyed the travel series you did, but I know it will likely be some time before you’re able to do something like that again.
*I thought I should clarify that my daughter’s graduation party will be held in a place with limited “cooking” options. So, I need to serve a large group of people using crock pots and cold/room temperature dishes. I love the look of your Huli Huli Chicken and was wondering if it could be adapted for a slow cooker? That’s the sort of thing I’m looking for. I understand you have your list of things you want to do and people are asking you for their own needs or wishes, so you may not get to this. That’s fine. I understand. I just thought I’d ask. :0D
Hi Navi! Happy New Year! I love your recipes and the videos are so helpful. I would love to see more Asian inspired dishes and dishes for two. Oh, and thanks for asking.
Hi Nagi and Dozer, thank you for everything. More Dozer is a given. always brings a smile. I like that your food tastes good and can be made by a real person. Please keep doing what you do. Cheers Gwendolyn.
Well, first perhaps a suggestion to tweak this article and tell us adoring Dozer & Nagi fans where you’d like for us to give you our thoughts?! I looked & looked for a link as I read & finally decided to submit in the comments.
I may comment a few times as I think of things, but for a start, I would love a tutorial on how to mince fresh herbs! Perhaps offer a mincing and chopping tutorial? When I chop herbs they end up all over my cutting board and knife and not really minced because I just surrender 😅 Also, I always appreciate recipes with fewer ingredients, as well as sheet pan and slow cooker recipes.
I love topping off reading your posts with your Dozer update! Please give that sweet boy a big smooch from me in Northern Virginia, USA! 😘
I thank you for everything you have taught me to cook
I have read a lot about the benefits for the fermentations… so what I want? Learn to do fermentations: kombucha, pickles (from scratch- not using vinegar but letting the vegetables acidity and make vinegar by themselves), sourdough, gingerbeer, vinegar…
although maybe this doesn’t go with your fast and easy home cooking… that’s what I would like to learn. Just letting you know my area of actual interest 😉
Thank you for giving everyone a chance to “ask” for something they would like more of.
#1 more Dozer! Love all the pictures of you and him.
#2 I’m in my 70’s now, so just the two of us living at home now. I’d like recipes scaled for 2 to 4.
#3 Love using my slow cooker.
#4 I have a wonderful little dog, I enjoy making her treats. So lastly…dog friendly recipes.
Thank you for brightening my day…stay well and safe in 2021.
Hi Nagi, I’m an Australian living in Cusco. Did you know you have a follower in Perú? I notice you have two Peruvian dishes. (Cerviche and Peruvian Roast Chicken). Would it be possible to include some more? For example, Lomo Saltado? Thanks Ally xx
Hi Nagi! Your recipes are awesome! I became hooked after I googled how to make prawns and came across your Garlic prawns recipe. Who needs to go to a restaurant?
I am wheat and gluten intolerant, so new recipes are always welcome.
I acquired an air fryer recently. There don’t seem to be many recipes online. A new challenge for you? Thanks. Ann
I love all of your recipes and have not been disappointed in any I have tried. When my partner compliments me on what I have made I say it is from my girl in Australia :). I would like to see more make ahead and instant pot recipes…that is if you do have one. Thanks so much for all you do and a happy and healthy 2021 to you and that cutie pie Dozer…he always brings a smile to my day.
