It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Happy New Year!
Would love to see more gluten free friendly desserts.
Me too
I would love to see 1) more vegetable centric recipes and 2) more fish dishes. Or even fish variations added to meat recipes. I love your flavors and spice mixtures that you do!
I second this! More vegetable and seafood/ fish main dishes!
Hi, Nagi. i’d like to see more lowfat recipes, more vegetables,
freezer friendly would be good too. Thanks so much for all you do and all the best for the New Year.
Margaret
Happy New Year! I love reading all of your posts (and seeing you and Dozer), and your recipes are amazing. As a diabetic Type 1, I’d love to see more green/fish/low carb recipes. Thanks for all you do… BE WELL!!
Nibbly bits or picky bits as we call them. Snack food for those days when we just want bits and pieces instead of a meal or when we have to take a plate of something to a party, because some day we will see people again and my cooking will have improved!
Also, what can I do with an air fryer?
I Hear yah on the aversion to bananas. What about guest bloggers (like your mother?) for food you don’t like.
More desserts! Your desserts are always gorgeous and original.
Grilling! Would love to see more recipes for outdoor grilling meat and veg!
I want more recipes for diabetics (low carb and low cal)
Happy New Year- thank you for your free recipes. I made the drunken noodles and it was fantastic! Could you please provide a recipe for Pad Thai and another for barbecue short ribs.
Hello Nagi & Dozer, Happy 2021. I would like to see ideas for a complete meal in the airfryer. I have a Tower 11 litre with the shelves & haven’t a clue, any ideas would be lovely, thanks
I love, love all of your recipes! You make me feel like I can do that! I brag to anyone who will listen that you are the best! Just keep on with your ideas! What ever you do it’s great!
Love your recipes, hands down! I would love a Yule log cake that does not crack when it’s rolled. I haven’t found a recipe yet that does not crack after filling when rolling up.
Dear nagi, Happy new year please could we have a really authentic hainanese chicken rice. thank you
Happy New Year 2021! I love your posts and, especially, Dozer! Whatever you decide or your fans, is just fine with me. May God continue to bless you and your family.
I love your recipes and follow your blog daily. I would love to see Insta Pot and Slow Cooker recipes. Not just the easy weekday recipes but ones that are company worthy. I would also love to have these categorized in your drop down menu for easy access.
I just got an Instapot for Christmas so I second this request!!!!
Keep all the super helpful explanations. I’ve learned a ton from you and I love that! I also like the suggestions on side dishes that go with main courses. Also, I’d love to know more about your kitchen organization, like things in the kitchen, but also recipe organization (paper, electronic, how to, etc). Thank you!
Hi Janell, LOVE Nagi’s recipes!! I’ve learnt a tremendous amount thru her recipes too & my go to storage for the recipes I like (which is mostly ALL of them 😂), is to print them from her website & put them into a concertina file, with “drop-in” drawer thingy’s. Not sure how else to explain it, but it works for me. Inside each drawer, I put cardboard dividers (cut & made at home to fit in the drawer), with different labels on each ie: breakfasts, sauces, beef, fish&seafood, soups, salads (THE BEST!!) etc. SO easy when you’re on the hunt for a specific recipe. Hope that helps! 🙂
Hi Kim! I LOVE this idea to help organize all my recipe printouts! I hadn’t thought of that. It will definitely transition my unorganized mess into a much better system. I’m excited to put it into place! Thank you!! 🙂
Keep going as you are doing as your passion in food and sharing
Also keep bragging about your Dozer! Love it 😊
WHAT I REALLY WANT IS YOU TO LIVE CLOSE BYN COAST OF CA, AND COOK FOR THIS SENIOR SENIOR.
Happy New Year, Nagi! Firstly, thanks for all your effort you put into your recipes and posts, much appreciated. For 2021, I’d love more dessert recipes, particularly related to chocolate. More salad dressings and simple sauces/dressings for wraps and sandwiches would be great too. Looking forward to your 2021 recipes! 😁
