It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

    Hi Nagi,

    I love your recipes they are so easy to follow. Can you post recipes using:
    -culinary lavender
    -Belacan
    -More steamed or poached dishes
    P.S. I love love your poached chicken with ginger shallot sauce. So yummy that we have it for dinner every week. I sometimes swap chicken for steamed barramundi fillets. So good! Thanks for the yummy recipes Nagi.

    Hi Nagi, thank you so much for your amazing recipes. We just finished enjoying your super simple, but incredibly tasty, pumpkin soup! I made the turmeric, cayenne pepper, Smoky paprika, plus some mild paprika, plus sage and thyme leaves version. Yes, I have altered your version slightly, but it was so tasty without roasting the pumpkin and, as you say, plonking in the ingredients and cooking it. I had sour cream in mine, and a different, but still incredibly tasty flavour!

    It would be good if you could include storage comments, ie: can be kept in fridge for ? days or can be frozen for all your recipes

    I’d love to see your recipes for :
    Russian kulichi (Easter yeast cake),
    French vanilla slice,
    Passionfruit tart (in same style as lemon tart),
    Spelt loaf,
    Thai roast duck red curry and Burmese tea leaf salad.

    Thanks to you I enjoy cooking. From someone who never cooked to having to cook for a family I have struggled. Your recipes are easy to follow and delicious!
    I’m yet to find a great Portuguese custard tart recipe…. challenge accepted…? Xx

      I had the same experience! Thanks to Nagi, i feel more confident in the kitchen and try lots of Nagi’s recipes.
      I used to buy these Portuguese custard tarts in Toronto. Yummy! Now I live in Auckland, haven’t seen them in bakeries.
      I would like to put in a request for Hungarian Goulash recipe. Thank you, Nagi!

    Thanks for your go to /never fail recipes, Nagi, always a success with whoever gets plied with them at our house.
    I’m for ever buying bananas for the mid golf munch for hubby. I invariably buy too many( slow learner) Any ideas for using them dessert wise (or any wise for that matter!)

    Dutch oven all- in one recipes please . I love you dirty chicken and rice recipe ( and many other recipes , too. My family now asks ” is it from Recipetineats website ?” when I serve a new dish. Yes, you fussy lot! )
