It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Breakfast bars, easy on-the-go healthy breakfast ideas for teenagers.
I love what your do. You explain the recipe so well that’s it’s easy to make. Your recipes have never failed to be anything but yummy. You bring your bubbly personality to your blog and of course your baby is adorable I’d like to see more main course items, taking a cut of meat and making several different recipes with it. There are a lot of people struggling to cut down family recipes for one or two. Fir instance, I can buy pork tenderloin fir 99 cents once in a while but I don’t want to make it all into carnitas. My husband and I would get sick of eating it all or it would sit in my freezer until I threw it out. Kinda defeated getting it on sale.
I live what you do and appreciate you!
I woukd like to echo Joseph. I enjoy all if your rexioes and cooking international is a treat. I. Know cooking A Nagi international woukd be spendid. Thank you. I hooe you and Dozer enjoy your ur well deserved break.
I’m a vegetarian, so of course more plant-based recipes. Sustainable recipes for our stressed earth. And more Dozer !
I would love more soups! Hubby and I love soups. And some instant pot recipes. Got one for Christmas and haven’t had that much luck with it, except bone stock! Everything I make in this tastes washed out. Need some tried and true recipes.
And I love Dozer!
My Christmas gift is a spirell-slicer Do you have some recipes for me using this tool . Thanks you Just love your emails Jenny
I love all your posts. I trust your selections and the selections of your Mom as well. Thank you very much. Smooch for Dozier!!
I love your site and Dozer🥰 Last year I learned that I have gluten sensitivity and I now follow a low food map diet which has helped me. It would be nice to see wheat alternatives and less garlic and onions.
Authentic foods from around the world! We live in the mountains of Colorado, USA, far from any major city, and the options for international dining in the nearby towns are quite limited. We can’t afford to travel the world in person (and of course are restricted from doing so even if we could afford it), but we love to watch food related travel shows (the late Anthony Bourdain’s shows are our favorites). We have been trying new recipes, and buying exotic (for us) fruits when they appear in our local grocery store (last week we tried dragon fruit for the first time!). We love all your Japanese, Asian and Southeast Asian recipes, and would love more of those, and more recipes from other countries and regions of the world! Next up will be your Laksa recipe, once the laksa paste arrives in the mail! LOL!
Thank you! I love your site. What I’d like to see more of is Cooking for One or Two. Families (sadly) don’t eat together, everyone on different schedules or diets. Lots of us live alone or 2 together. And most important, if you cook for 4-8, you won’t eat 1 portion, you’ll eat 2-3, because a portion is actually smaller than we see in a restaurant. Anyway, you get the idea. Thank you! Just because I cook for one, doesn’t mean I should give up yummy food, or the Joy of cooking it!
Recipes that call for less sugar and/or less fat.
Baked french fries please:)
I would like to see more reciped that are low fat healthier more veggies recipes in 2021. Thanks. I love all the recipes I’ve tried. Happy New Year
I would love to see your good Thai/asian recipes with less fat. They are delicious, but I’m watching calories 🙁. I also love middle eastern recipes and instant pot. Anything with interesting flavors (which is why I love your recipes) The American diet can be pretty boring and bland)
American Diet ?????? Boring Bland ????? this Country has the Greatest food in the world A blend from all around the World , World renowned Chefs all those people did not leave their recipes behind when they immigrated here ,,,Little Italy ,China Town ..New Orleans , Chicago ,California ,Mid West North South East West ,,shows like Dinners Drive-ins and Dives ,Las Vegas Yikes. NO BLAND FOOD HERE THERE
I absolutely adore your website and devour every new blog. Fairly recent to the party but everything I have been able to try has been perfect due to a great teacher who can communicate VERY well. Bless you (especially for last fall’s dry brine method! Son-in-law said he doesn’t really enjoy turkey but this was really good!). My limitations are 1) living alone and being unable to host dinner parties for my tribe so either smaller size dishes or freezable would be welcome, and 2) having dietary issues that cause me to strictly avoid cow dairy and sugar. (You’d think I’d be much thinner. HA! There are compensations!!!) The variety you currently offer is astounding and I think you are incredibly brave to take on a challenge such as asking “What do you want?” From beautiful southwestern Oregon, where the weather is never extreme and where we rust – don’t tan – best of luck with this challenge!!!
Hi Nagi, I have never been disappointed in any f your recipes— I even made the Pavlova Christmas Tree for my best friend’s birthday as a group participation event to resounding success! So I feel a little greedy asking for more, but I have a Vegan son, and it is a challenge to find DELICIOUS dishes for him. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I need some really yummy slow-cooker recipes. (Oh, I also made your unbelievable Christmas Salmon for the birthday party— best dish ever!!!!)
Your site is excellent!!! I have shared it with so many of my friends. This year I’m on the hunt for “how to” recipes for ciabatta bread and a hearty bread (like Ezekiel bread).
I’d like more lamb recipes. It’s not as common in N. America as in Australia.
That would be nice, It would be nicer if lamb wasn’t so freakin’ expensive in the States.
Fantastic recipes, great instructions! Would like to see more veggie/less meat & some low carb recipes. Thank you very much and enjoy your well deserved time away!
Really enjoy your blog… recipes AND Dozer! 🙂
