Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

    What do I want?
More recipes and definitely more Dozer tales and pix.
I love your recipes and especially your explanations of how and why.
You’re a real gem, and we’re lucky to have you!

Hello from Colorado! LOVE your website and recipes. Thank you for creating yummy food with easy-to-find ingredients.

I struggle with menu planning for an entire week. You do such a great job of suggesting “what to serve with xxx.” And I LOVED your COVID 2-week menu/shopping list – made my life so much easier. Please create a week’s (or two) worth of recipes, along with shopping list and advance prep suggestions.

Also, would love freezer tips for each of your recipes.

And finally, how do you pronounce your first name? When my husband asks where I found the great recipe he’s eating, I have to tell him “my little Australian friend.”
Thank you for brightening my day and making me a better cook.

I’d love more Dozer stories! And crick pit abd one dish meals. Your bowl recipes are great! Need some for chicken, shrimp and stew beef. Not all together ha. I DETEST bananas. It’s THE ingredient that ruins banana pudding!!

I love what you do, Nagi, and the incredibly thorough and thoughtful way in which you do it. You’re my favorite food blogger, bar none!

I’d love to see more vegetarian and vegan dishes. And to make my request way more challenging–lol–I’d like to see some of those dishes be low-carb and lower sodium.

Please give a snuggle to Dozer and a hug to yourself from me. I hope with you that 2021 will be a better year for the whole world. ❤️

I cook a lot of your recipes and they are very good. I love how you explain the ingredients.
I would like you to cook a nice simple sea food boil in a pot and in the oven.

Love your recipes. Would love 3 things: – more slow cooker/one pot meals, – also more vegetarian options – and more chinese (which use black bean sauce for example)

Greetings from the UK! My boyfriend and I love your recipes, especially all the substitutions you list. We’d love to see some soup maker recipes, more Chinese recipes, work lunch ideas and food that can be taken to go. Oh and more Dozer content – duh.

I got started with you because I found some great GF recipes or recipes that could be easily converted to GF. That’s my 2 cents.

I love so many of your recipes! I would like to see more crock pot or instant pot recipes, as I often alter the meat in your recipes to make them that way. I would also like to see more kid friendly recipes!

Happy New Year, Nagi!! I already LOVE what you do…your recipes are great and tasty, explained so well (love the visuals), and must say that I am a Huge Dozer Fan! Thx for what you do, and hope this year is safe, happy, and healthy for you both! Oh, I only wish that I could be in the kitchen with you! It would be so fun!!! 🙂 and I’d learn lots but would probably pass on a couple treats to Dozer…

Hi, this is probably what might be only my problem but…I use an app, Paprika 3, that saves your recipes for me on my iPad. On your recipe tin eats Japan site the program saves the notes with the recipe. For some reason on your regular site, the notes – that I consider very helpful – are not included and are a bit of a hassle to add.
Like I said, not maybe a problem for most but I’d love the notes to be included as the Japan site does it. Have you delved much into Sous vide or pressure cooking? Enjoy the quick and easy recipes on occasion.

Happy New Year Nagi!!! Enjoy all your recipes. You have definitely helped make me a better cook. Items from my wishlist include: casseroles, freezer friendly meals, and definitely don’t forget to include some recipes for Dozer. I know my Reggie would love a new treat or two. Best wishes for the coming year! Look forward to seeing what new recipes you come up with!
