It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi,
I would love more low carb/low calorie recipes as well as InstaPot recipes. It’s been awhile since you’ve done one of those.
Love you and Dozer!!!!
I so need to lose weight after 2020. Low carb works best for me. Can you offer some new recipes?
I have so many answers! Obviously, more Dozer is always good. But also, more veggie recipes, freezer-friendly and/or make-ahead recipes (or even better, making it a thing to always add such instructions when the recipe is conducive), and one-pot/one-bowl recipes.
I echo the request for Instant Pot/pressure cooker recipes – I haven’t really loved the ones I’ve tried that call for meat but not in a ton of liquid (like stew or chili). The meat just never comes out right so I’ve given up, but if YOU had such a recipe, I would trust it.
More slow cooker recipes, especially ones that aren’t soup or stew, would be fantastic too. THANK YOU for all that you do!
I really love all your recipes – so much variety! I also really liked when you did your review of pots and pans and knives and other kitchen utensils, etc. More of that would be good. And we can never see too much of Dozer!
I agree!
I’m interested in seeing Sous Vide recipes and techniques as well as Slow Cooker recipes that will cook low and slow while I’m at work.
Hi and thanks for all the great recipes. I would like to see more pressure cooker recipes and easy recipes that don’t require a lot of steps or effort.
Hello Nagi, Let me tell you, you are a lifesaver. Can you give me a recipe for lamb chops? and what can be a side dish? I am preparing for Saturday’s surprise dinner for my grandmother’s 80th birthday, it’s only going to be 4 of us. I want it to be perfect! thanks.
Low Carb please! You are my favorite recipe go to!
One of my favorite recipes is your Mediterranean Brown Rice Salad. My family eats it almost once a week now because it’s healthy, versatile and really, really delicious. I would love to have more healthy recipes similar to this one. I’d love quick and delicious healthy snacks, lunches and dinners that have great flavor. Whatever you decide, Nagi, I’m appreciative of all you do for us. You’re the best!!
I am a vegetarian that cooks for a house full of carnivores. I’d love some vegetarian options that I can add meat too. So I’m not always stuck having sides for dinner. Thank you 😊
Hi Nagi, I cook from your blog a lot – it’s all amazing, thank you so much! I also cooked few things from your mum’s recipes as I have interest in Japan, also very good 🙂 And as for requests, I’d love some more slow cooker recipes. Some vegetarian meals would also be great!
Sorry for the second comment..another idea would be maybe to include recipes for instant pots? Or air fryers? I find those appliances are getting more and more popular, so it would be neat to have so recipes we could use for those?
Hi Nagi! I would love more Thai recipes (e.g., Tom Ka soup), Japanese classic recipes and I would love for you to have your own recorded program that we can all watch you make your fabulous creations! Happy New Year!
I loooove all your recipes. You have such a talent in making the most complicated recipe feel easy. Your website has a bit of every culture, which makes cooking feel so varied. I think the one think I don’t see a lot of is indian recipes (palak paneer, aloo gobi, etc). I love indian food but I find the websites specializing in that so hard to follow. I would love seeing those recipes with the Nagi twist on them.
You asked, so here goes. MORE…Spicy chicken breast; chicken slow-cooker; potato side dishes; carrot side dishes; pork butt slow-cooker; pork chop slow-cooker. I can think of a few more but I will let others make their choices.
More soup recipes pls
How about your take on the ultimate comfort foods? I’m in always looking for the best mac and cheese recipe, a kicked grilled cheese and tomato soup. Maybe a week’s menus of the comfort foods?
Thanks for the question, Nagi! I OFTEN visit your site for inspiration and recipes 🙂
Being on Weight Watchers, here’s what I want: recipes that focus on veg & lean protein (including tofu), desserts that are WW-friendly, new ideas on roasting vegetables. Thank you!!!!
Thank you very much. I have made a lot of your recipes. Thank you!
