It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
I love your recipes because they are always delicious, I guess because you test them. What I would like to see is maybe a recipe (dummed down!) for a demi glace. I can’t affort veal bones, bearnaise sauce. Also a simplyfied sourdough
starter. I look forward to seeing your lastest creations. Thanks for taking suggestions.!!
I would LOVE a nice big hardcover cookbook filled with your recipes!!! I know you have ebook ones, but I’d much rather pay for a real cookbook!! You have an amazing talent and deserve it!! Who’s with me?
I would LOVE to see some copycat recipes, especially the Honey Walnut Shrimp from Panda Express!
Hi Nagi,
Firstly, our family so enjoyed your wonderful interview with Dozer! Thank you!
Tonight we made our favorite recipe for dinner. YOUR baked Chinese Sticky Chicken Wings.
Now, to answer your question posed in today’s blog. We would like more fish recipes, salads, and slow cooker menus.
Thank you for all of your delicious recipes, which we use several times per week!!! Thanks to you, we are eating very well!!!! 😁
Sending you and Dozer much love from Estonia! ❤️❤️❤️
Barbara and family
Now I know why I love your recipes, I can’t stand bananas either 😂 Thank you for putting the joy back in cooking for me and for getting my kids interested in cooking ❤️ I’d like to see more fish recipes please 🙏🏽
Love your channel, especially Asian: Thai, Viet, and Korean dishes. Your ingredient lists are very similar to ours but with a new twist.
Please keep the great work. WDR
Hi Nagi, I love your website and using it for few years now and I used your recipe frequently. A few years ago I had shitake, crab, some greens salad In Japanese restaurant but unfortunately this restaurant had to close down and I had no way how to find out how they make that salad maybe you can help me your knowledge of cuisine from over the world Your fan from Canada
Hi Nagi,
I love your recipes – the instructions are easy to follow and the substitutions are so helpful! Your recipes have been a godsend since the lockdown (I’m in Toronto!)
As for suggestions, it would be great to see more Asian recipes – I’ve used all the Asian recipes I could from your website!
Also, slow cooker recipes would be great. Even though I’m working from home now, it’d still great to be able to throw everything in the slow cooker and have it ready for dinner! 🙂
Hi Nagi and Dozer! I have recently bought a Ninja Foodi 6 in 1 and I love it! So I would love to see recipes I can cook in it or suggestions for adapting cooking methods and timings for existing recipes if possible. Thank you for a great site and literally THE tastiest recipes on the internet! Lots of love to you and Dozer!
I use your recipes more than anyone else’s! I would love to see more Dozer, more about you, sheet pan dinners and instant pot recipes. Maybe more fish too. Thank you so much for everything.
More Keto, Low Carb, Sugar Free, Dozer
I agree with Marianne, could we have Airfrier recipes and also curries. I have tried so many curries from all parts of the world, but your recipes are to be trusted and know they will be flavoursome and keepers.
Thank you for giving me my daily recipe and my smile a day at Dozer.
If you could indicate which recipes could be frozen, it would be greatly appreciated.
Love your Asian recipes!!!
Let’s try Instant Pot.
Hi Nagi and Dozer! You’re both perfect! I love everything about you both. ❤😊
Instant pot recipes please
Thank you
Hi Nagi,
I would love to see more simple and quick everyday meals. Your chicken and rice one pot meals, and chicken breast with sauce recipes are great. I’d love to see more that are simple and flavourful like these, maybe more with beef, pork, and fish as well. And lots of veggies! (Got to keep the kids healthy) Thanks!
Happy New Year Nagi (and what a relief you and Dozer are well). Ten days without you was shocking!
Everything you create is amazing. Your recipes and techniques are my go to these days. Hmm, how to improve on perfection…maybe a few more theme dinners. Lunar New Year is a month away…
Packed lunches are a must around here. Some new ideas and tricks would be lovely.
Definitely new ideas for the instapot and air fryer (which is new to me this year).
Absolutely loved you 31 day salad marathon. Great new recipes to enjoy throughout the year. Thank you so very much.
Then there’s Dozer…the best loved dog in the world! 😊
Of course we need to keep up with our superstar!
But the most important of all is you, Nagi. Your beautiful, bright, positive personality which you share with us generously several times per week. Don’t change a thing! Everybody knows the saying “when something is perfect don’t mess with it” definitely applies to your spirit.
Enjoy 2021
Healthy musubi recipes, please!
I can’t imagine a different direction for the Nagi/Dozer duo because I rely on you so frequently. Being a rural dweller, I don’t have access to things like lemon grass and thai chilis, so lots of those recipes go untested here, but I love the recipes with common everyman kind of ingredients. Everything you post makes my mouth water.
