Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I have been following you for several years now and can’t get enough of your witty comments, recipes and, of course, Dozer! Also love the pictures of your gorgeous pool! I find that I spend so much time making the ‘main’ course (protein part) that I usually don’t put any decent thought into the ‘healthy’ sides so maybe that’s my ask for this year. Thank you so much from Calgary!

I was wondering if you ever came across a recipe for nacho dip with a sour cream base. They used to have one you could buy here in Canada but they discontinued it. I tried putting your wonderful one with sour cream but didn’t work. I used that dip on proigis, taquitos, tacos, baked potatoes, etc. tring to find a substitute. The other would be the chinese yellow curry sauce. It goes so well with fish as well as chicken and beef. Have you ever tried it fried trout? I live in the bush now so getting to order stuff isn’t easy. Have to make most. You’re reciepes are great for me and my family. Thank You!

    Happy New Year!

So many of your recipes are on my go to meal rotation, so thank you for what you have already posted or put on video.

Due to the pandemic I would love some “pantry” recipes since I’m not shopping for groceries as often.

Dozer updates are also a must :).

    hello Nagi,
    appreciate your website & enthusiasm.
sadly i dont have time to review ingredients in the recipes, just read titles. : /
you probably have lots of recipes in this category. so this suggestion is to create uber keto category of recipes of less than 10 grams of non-fiber carbs per serving.
    thanks for asking.

Hi – Love your dog and recipes. I’m always looking for spicy, more vegies and beans than meat, leftovers freezable (no mushy potatoes). Soups Casseroles and Crock-pot.

Hi Nagi. Cooked your amazing Roast Chicken with herbs & garlic last night. Absolutely Amazing! Added your roasties to the menu also. Brilliant combo. With all the kids home from school these days it would be brilliant to have some lunch inspired options. Kids snacks n stuff! Lots of cooking at home at the moment. I’d be lost without you right now!

Hi Nagi! I’m so glad you were able to take a break. I would love it if your helpful posts such as tenderizing meats, Asian market shopping guide, best items for the kitchen etc were all in a category together to make them easier to find. I’ve been using your site for many months now and I still stumble on a helpful guide that I didn’t realize you had.

    Thanks!

Ps. I’d also love some low sodium recipes or a category for them if you already have quite a few!

Hi Nagi, As usual, your wonderful personality made me smile and boy can we use smiles here in the USA. Anyway, in reference to your call for ideas was wondering if you could offer more Asian
meals with fish & veggies. Thanks. Much health & stay safe. Hugs to Dozer.

Hi Nagi, I would like to see more of the same things you have been doing all along. More fun commentary by you, more fun with Dozer, and more delicious recipes! I’m greedy – I just want more more more! Seriously – just keep on doing what you are doing. Your blog is wonderful just the way it is. Well, maybe a bit more “comfort foods” – my favorite kind.

I’ve loved ALL your recipes, and it’s just nice to be able to choose which ones to try. Given that, we’ve been eating minimal amount of beef, and “trying” to eat more vegetables. Stir fries are too normal for me, so anything different would be great! Thanks a bunch!

Umm. I’ve been on a bread baking craze for the last few years-long before Covid. I would love some sandwich recipes. Slow cooker recipes would also be great. But whatever you put up seems good.
