It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Knife tricks! Not the throwing kind-the ‘chopping, mincing, slicing quick’ kind.
Hi Nagi,
Since I found you on the web, I’d like to say that you, your site, and of course your handsome golden boy have always enlightened my days.
Last night we finally got around to trying your Maple Glazed Ham – truly marvelous! My son and hubby went bonkers over it. I also love the flavor, but it is the simplicity of the recipe that drew me in.
We are also huge fans of your Juicy Roast Turkey. Again, so simple yet so juicy and tasty!
We have tried, and loved, so many of the recipes you’ve posted. So, for us, we say keep doing what you’ve been doing. We would absolutely love more Dozer, if possible.
We hope you and your family are well and stay safe and healthy. Hugs to all.
Honestly; I follow your blog religiously. I don’t try all the recipes but the ones I have tried have all been winners. I would say keep doing you – and Dozer too! It seems to be a great mix of recipes that meets all needs even if every recipe doesn’t.
Just want to say first thank you so much for your recipes especially over the last year. It’s greatly helped since we’ve been cooking a lot more at home due to covid.
I’ve been wanting to inquire about a recipe that I’ve had a hard time finding an accurate one for. It’s an Asian / Cajun fusion that’s sometimes popular in malls in the southeast called Bourbon Chicken. The place that made what I remember is unfortunately closed but it was the best I’ve ever had we would eat it at least a couple of times a month growing up.
The history of it shows that it’s based on a cook who invented it on Bourbon St. in New Orleans so the inclusion of actual Bourbon is debatable in different recipes. The one I remember was sweet but not overly and it was contrasted with the char from the grill. I’ve gotten close a few times but it’s always missing something. It was a really good dish I love the fusion of Asian styled meat and fried rice with fried okra and steamed potatoes / veggies. Not sure if you’re familiar with the recipe or not but figured I’d ask since most of everything I make from you turns out very good. Thanks again for all you do!
What’s the recipe for boneless Crispy Duck with the skin on that comes with Chinese Vegetables in a Aromatic Sauce that some Chinese Restaurants have? Brad
I am new to your site and have enjoyed your recipes. Would like to see more Japanese meats; beef, chicken, lamb, etc. and more sides too, please. Thank you for all that you do!
I love it all. Don’t change a thing. I love the lay out of your site and how you explain things. With both pictures and video. I made about 15 of your recipes in the past month alone. (I did a bunch of the 30 days of salad recipes….so fun!) Can’t count how many for all time, there are so many. I belong to about 30 food blogs and your site is my favorite and most used. I also, so enjoy Dozer. He makes me smile and laugh. Thank You Nagi for some great eats and a wonderful site. Wishing you and your family and of course “The Doz,” a wonderful 2021!!!!
Nagi..love all your recipes. They are easy to follow and and I usually have all the ingredients in my pantry or they are readily available at my local supermarket. Great work!
Greetings from California!
I found your blog right before my husband had to make a diet switch to more low cholesterol foods. All of your dishes look amazing!!! However, I am unable to make most, but I have been able to change some to make them work 🙂
I still enjoy your blog because every post makes me laugh out loud! You are always so positive! And my kids like seeing what Dozer is up to! You have a great food blog! Keep up the good work!
Maybe more healthy veggie dishes in 2021!
I live in the U.S./Midwest where winters can be brutal. I’d LOVE to see an easy, weeknight, good slow cooker, recipe. But honestly, anything & everything you post is fabulous! Lastly, and probably the most obvious.. more Dozer please!! (Can’t help but wonder if a distinguished, happy go lucky dog like Dozer has a girlfriend? I’m thinking there must be another golden beauty at the beach! LOL!)
More fish meals (not salmon) please.
More dietary – gluten free and dairy free meals
Thank you

Hi Nagi, Over six months ago I adopted a Ketogeic lifestyle. I was able to modify many of your main course dishes to conform to my very low carb diet. It would be great if you could post more low carb dishes. I’m pretty sure that many of your fans would appreciate this even if they don’t eat “keto”.
Thanks for all your hard work. I’ve been enjoying your website and recipes for several years now.
