Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Hi Nagi, love your recipes. You are my go-to site when I am stuck on what to cook. I would love to see some air-fryer recipes, as that is the appliance I use a lot. Thank you.

Happy new year to you. We love all your recipes, great for filling up teenage boys. Any chance you could do more vegetarian dishes. Thanks so much

Happy New Year to you and Dozer! I would love to see more low carb main dishes as a strict Keto-er and a vegetarian who occasionally eats a little fish (tuna, cod, shrimp – not a fan of salmon). I would also love recipes where I could utilize my air fryer. I live alone and that appliance is great for small meals. I don’t mind recipes yielding more portions as long as they store well. I like to have a couple nights a week where re-heating only is planned for. I love mushroom-centric recipes and also brassicas (except kale!). I adapt many of your pasta/noddle recipes to spiralized veggie options and rice-based to riced cauliflower. And definitely, more Dozer! I so love people who love their pets as much as I love mine!

Hi Nagi. I just love your recipes! Thank you! My wife absolutely loves Paul Newman’s Ranch Dressing but they seem to have changed the formula and it is now very runny.
Do you have. Ranch Dressing recipe you can share?
    Thank you again

    G’day Nagi,

Wishing you and Dozer a healthy & happy 2021!

Any chance you might throw in a vegetarian (not vegan) recipe or two throughout 2021 that is egg free and totally delicious.
    Dairy’s cool.

Would be very much appreciated. 🙂 It’s really hard to find egg free vegetarian recipes that aren’t vegan!

    Kind Regards,

You are my number one recipe go to person. Thank you for making me a better cook.

If possible more Greek recipes, meals and deserts. I always promote your Baklava recipe as it is authentic (being born to Greek parents) measurements are exact, which I don’t get from my greek relatives who cook without measurements, which are amazing but I’m more of a measurement person.

One more request, easy Italian food and deserts too please.

Love looking at your videos too before attempting any recipe.

    Cheers

So, I’ve been thinking lately about my Sunday meal prep which carries me through the week, and specifically making a set of sauces that can be used on salad, as marinades, or as condiments for the week’s menu. The idea to do the fussiest prep on Sunday and sail through the rest of the week just pulling together the veg, protein, and starch components.

Hi Nagi & Dozer, yours is my favorite email ! So easily followed because you explain/write/picture/video recipes that convince me “I can do that”. And of course, Dozer always brings smiles. I have no recipes to suggest, just keep up the excellent recipes. Happy New Year

Thank you Nagi for a great website which I have recommended to many friends. Your recipes are fail proof with your great explanations and videos. Would love to see more complete menus. Loved your family’s preparation of your Mother’s SATC! Thank you for giving us the only ‘go to’ site worth going to.

A follow up thought to themed menus…how about a Mardi Gras theme? Perhaps some of the traditional French, New Orleans and Aussie classics?

    Thank you Nagi

Hi Nagi! Glad all is well for you! I would love to see… reposting or new Japanese food recipes. I miss your Mom’s blog of recipes! Did you stop posting her Japanese recipe section? I needed help for New Year’s food and had to search the web! Some recipes were not good! Thanks in advance!

    Hi Nagi,

Long time fan here! I found your website not long after I moved out from home and it has been a total life saver in terms of easy but guaranteed delicious recipes. 95% of the meals I cook now are from your site! My partner and I refer to you as Aunty Nagi at home cause you, Dozer and your recipes have become such an important part of our lives. 🙂

I would love to see more vegetarian meals – ones that you will actually feel full after eating! And also more slow cooker meals please.

The one other thing I would really love to see is a continuation of other tools/equipment that you love to use and would recommend. E.g. pie/casserole dishes, baking equipment, etc.

Thanks Nagi! I will definitely continue to be a fan (and to share your site with others) into 2021.

How about more crockpot and meat and potatoes recipes. My hubby doesnt like oven baked meat he can be such a pain when it comes to dinner. he has no input on what he wants for dinner till I tell him what I’m fixing.
Waiting to see what you come up with next!
    From Ohio, stay healthy!
