Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Hi I have a 16 year old son who is, well 16 and difficult! He is a Pacific islander and can eat meat ALOT. He loves chicken wings, ribs and steak.
I would love healthier options to the junk foods the kids crave so much and after school snacks ( meals in my case) I’m trying hard to encourage my boy to skip the take away and come home to eat instead. Any ideas are great ideas!
    Thanks

    Hi Nagi
I struggle with easy but delicious and nutritious kids lunch box ideas. Would you be interested in creating a lunch box category for EASY kids lunches?

Hi Nagi, I just love your recipes and use them all of the time. Never had a failure yet. I was looking for your recipe for the white bean salad, couldn’t remember the name for the life of me. I spent ages going through your recipes and noticed all of the salads. Do you think you could make a category for salads? It would be great if you could. Angela

    Hi Nagi!

You are an absolute inspiration and an artist. Thank you for sharing your creations with us. I was recently diagnosed with gallstones and in order to reduce flare-ups I need to eat low fat foods / meals. Do you have any recipes you can share that are low fat?

Thank you for everything you do 🙂 I love you and Dozer!!!

      Hi Nagi,

Your site is the only site that every recipe has worked out! Hence we use your recipes weekly. I’m hoping you can do Pasteis de nata (Portuguese tarts) if you haven’t had them, they are delicious if they are done right.

I have tried a couple times and hasn’t worked out. Would love the extra mile if you made the puff pastry as well!

We are sorry to hear about your banana ‘issues’, however we would love it if you could somehow come up with a banana and passionfruit cake as we seem to have bulk passionfruit and a few good banana’s. Ta

Hi Ceri, as I’m not a nutritionist or dietary adviser, I wouldn’t like to label “diabetic friendly” recipes. I would have stacks that are suitable here by chance though! N x

    Hi Nagi!!
I would love your version of Danish pastry dough? I’ve been trying to find a good recipe and they all vary so much (eggs, no eggs, laminating the butter or just mixing it into the dough etc.) and know you are the one to give us a great dough! 😃
