Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I would love to see more vegetarian main dishes. Beyond pasta and cheese-filled ones. Your recipes have been a true bright spot during the pandemic. We use them all the time. Thank you!

    Hi Nagi,
Firstly I don’t think there can be too much Dozer, your stories always bring a smile to my face! With us all spending so much time at home and in the gardens I would really appreciate recipes about preserving all the things we have grown. I would love to know how to preserve more of my fruit and veg for later use like with water bath preserving or any other ideas. Thank you for everything last year and fingers crossed this year will be brighter.

We all love your recipes and Dozer in my big family. All three daughters use you to make at least 1 or 2 meal a week!
Maybe more 30 minute kind of meals? Ones that you bulk prep for use a few days ahead so you get that out of the way and they will come together quickly!

Recipes that can be easily altered to suit dietary requirements ie. gluten free, dairy free, low fodmap but still taste amazing. Even better if you could mix and match with starters, mains & desserts

Hi Nagi, love your stories and hearing about Dozer and your mum’s tennis club -hilarious! I bumped into you both outside the lunch bowl place in Mona Vale a while back. Perhaps you could have some cooking classes for dinner parties as they can be stressful. Hope you are well and enjoy your time off.

I really enjoy reading and trying your recipes but especially reading about Dozer. We just lost our golden retriever last week and our hearts are broken. Give Dozer an extra hug today. Glad your restrictions were lifted. I would like more recipes for two since it seems like I waste too many leftovers. Thank you!

As well as having already said I’‘d love more vegetarian and healthy dishes, I’d love it if you would stop almost apologising for the healthy recipes that you do identify in your collection. Light and healthy can be utterly delicious and yours always are 😊.

Hey Nagi! As a frequenter to your trusting recipes what I would totally like to see from you would be a complete small dinner party menu. So how you would mix and match your own recipes to cater for things like date night to small family gatherings!
Enjoy the break! You deserve it
