It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
As boring as it is some more low calorie but tasty options would be great. After being locked down for so long I really need to move the extra kilos!
I enjoy most of your recipes. My husband and I love soup so would appreciate some interesting ones. As well, would appreciate some new and different appetizers that can be made ahead.
Hi Nagi. Love you recipes, they’ve all been great that I’ve tried so far. Would love to see more recipes with legumes/pulses, or could you do a pulse category.
Hi Nagi, love you recipes and regularly browse them for ideas and ‘how to’s” 💚🌺
I would love to see more Asian inspired main meals that have vegetables as the main feature with meats being added in small quantities. I would also love to be inspired by you with beans😀Yes, I love beans 😍(legumes) but beyond chilli con carne, refried or variations on salads I am not too sure what to do with them? Keep up your great blog. I have loved and enjoyed all of your posts and inspirations in 2020. Cheers Mazz 😀
Hi, I love your recipes but find I can’t use a lot as I’m diabetic with heart disease & have found just recently I’m allergic to cow & yeast. As a result I have to eat adjust recipes to fit which is OK but trying. I was wondering if you had a recipe for yeast free bread or pita bread, not damper as it does not last more than a day. Cheers Deb
Hi Nagi, thanks for ideas! I am always running out of ideas for protein-rich meals for me and my pescatarian husband. If you can come up with things with a common prep so that I can have meat, he can have fish or soy, chickpeas etc, I would love you forever.
Thanks! Jackey
PS Less Dozer please – I know I’m swimming against the tide here!
Happy new year Nagi!
I would love to see more vegetarian options and slow cooker meals (not necessarily vegetarian)
Thanks for all your wonderful recipes!!
Hi Nagi –
Happy new year.
I enjoy reading your news & hearing what you and Dozer are up to.
Also love your recipes and have many favourites on
recipetineats.
I love cooking and often go to considerable effort just for myself & my husband.
I also look forward to a break from the kitchen and enjoy dinner out once a week at a great local restaurant.
This week we are looking forward to dinner at the new Coda at Lorne which sounds amazing. Our son is a chef there so it will be an extra special evening for us.
However, some nights I really appreciate a one pot meal.
Another request is for tasty and quick dinner ideas for hot summer nights please.
Thanks, Carol
Keep doing what you do!! Maybe more photos of Dozer. Thank you for all of your recipes, they are so good!!
I would live to see some more pressure cooker ideas, freezer friendly meals, lunch ideas for adults who travel, and slow cooker ideas. Also do you have a family friendly devilled sausages recipe or recipes using sausages. They may not be a hot blog idea but budget friendly is always great.
Hi Nagi,
Lunchbox ideas would be great!! Thanks for all your ideas 💗🙌
Happy New Year!
Would love some work lunch ideas, we cannot use the kitchen, so at desk healthy lunches please
Hi
I would love some more meat free Monday ideas
Thanks
Hi Nagi, thanks for all your great recipes.
Would live to see more healthy family meals, no dairy, gluten-free options, meals that can be prepared before hand. Thank you
Love all your recipes Nagi!❤️🐶
Low carb, high protein meals please – fast options as well as some slow cooker recipes would be amazing 🙏
I would love to see more ideas for making fresh vegetables and using poultry or fish in creative ways. I need ideas that avoid spicy meats or vegetables.
Hi Nagi,
You are my go to girl! Your recipes never fail me and I’ve learnt a lot from you, so thank you! 🙂
I’d like to see more quick and healthy family meal recipes. And allergy friendly snacks (more catered towards kids)
I love your blog and look forward to seeing it arrive in my email box. I would love to see more Australian recipes and full three course recipes. Also some suggestions about meal planning and using leftovers. I also love hearing about Dozer. Keep it coming. You both are the highlight of my week..
Hi Nagi, sorry, but your selection just covers it all for me. Love all that you do. If I had to choose, it would be three courses, freezer food and some dietary type recipes. Thanks for all you do. Love Dozer ❤️
As a retiree/: grey nomad I would like freezee friendly recipes. I like them to serve above 6 so there are some extras. I like to cook once, eat about 3times. Thankyou very much for all your recipes over the years. I’ve loved them all
