It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Since it’s early January, I’m sure you’ll have tons of requests for “healthy-veggie-low-cal-low-carb”! 🙂 So I’ll stray away and request…more desserts, please! Your recipes are so wonderful, l’d love more Nagi-Sweets!
Tray bakes!!
And anything that’s one-pot freezer-friendly.
Thank you for your recipes! I have now tried a few and none have disappointed.
I would love to see more healthier recipes – my husband and i are starting off the year on a health kick 🙂
Hello Nagi, I would really like some complete menus, the sort of thing that can be easily ( hopefully) enlarged to feed up to 100 people….when we are able to use our local hall again that is ! Thanks for asking. Happy New Year to you and Dozer.
Manhattan Clam Chowder please!
Hi Nagi – I stumbled onto your recipe book, and would like to share with your followers. Getting through Covid does not leave us a lot of room for enjoyment- so with your help in the retired travelling years of life, cut back, I bring a different country each week to the house, and have to thank you for your recipes, as you have provided a sound base to have this journey, and inspire one onward. If I were to ask for anything, it would be more countries, more recipes – let’s travel the world together every week, with TASTE. May you keep safe and may you be well.
Hi Nagi, I love that your recipes ‘work’, meaning if you say it is so, I can trust you that the recipe will deliver. Not a lot of food blogs can claim that, so thank you! What I’d like to see is some ideas for when there’s a glut of fruit or veg. E.g. all the tomatoes ripen at once, or all the lemons , etc. Thanks again.
Hi, Nagi. I love your recipes!. I’m such an awful cook so I am asking for more easy, quick recipes with minimal prep and cooking time. I don’t think I can handle too much in the kitchen. Ha, ha. Also, simple and easy Instant Pot recipes will be much appreciated too. I got one but don’t have a clue how to work it or what to cook in it. Thanks, Nagi!
Love every recipe that I have tried. Love the many choices of styles, cultural and regional flavours. Also love all the tips and alternate choices. Would love to see more recipes for one or two servings. Yeah to Dozer and your personal comments and family stories! Stay healthy, and happy new year!
I would like more vegan meals. Or just more meatless recipes.
I enjoy your blog. Thank you for all the effort.
Everything you have mentioned sounds great, but would like to add: I’m a new grandmother and helping out my son/wife with the baby. Cooking is one of my duties. Since I do not cook much at home (hubby takes over), this is a new and stressful task. I look for easy and quick with 5 ingredients or less!
love your site and your food ideas. The wife and I have tried a lot and have not found one that we did not like. The wife and I love Gen Tsi chicken but hard to make at home as good as eating out. Any ideas?
Nagi, love your recipes, particularly where you suggest substitutions. However, the post I have read most often was the one where you reviewed cooking gadgets! For the future, would be thrilled if you could include air fryer tips and tricks, as I am a recent convert!
May I suggest some soup recipes for us that need to lose weight by Doctor’s orders.
Love your recipes !!!
Thank you Nagi for your wonderful detailed recipes.
We love the photos of Dozer and his daily antics. My 11 year old twins requested “more Dozer”.!!!! I’d like more slow cooker and quick family healthy meal recipes. With children doing after school and weekend activities getting healthy meals on the table can be tricky sometimes. Love everything you do and I’ve learned so much from your tips and fabulous recipes
Hello Nagi,
You know how much I enjoy your blog. I like it, share it and have signed my entire family up for it. I think you do a great job and always look forward to it in my in box.
I have just a few thoughts on “What do I want”. Typically I think you are right on target, but I would like to see additional information on:
Plant based recipes. I am NOT a vegan/veggie lover. I always considered corn and salad about as far into that space as I wanted to go. Nowadays, the whole plant style of eating (whatever that means) and more veggie based entrees are helpful. I know the health benefits, but would really like to find ways to make more vegie meals besides eggplant lasagna and pasta primavera.
I also am really trying to appreciate more of a “healthy lifestyle”. More fish (I hate cooking fish unless it is on the grill) and other forms of healthier foods with out being beinge entirely tofu based.
I also enjoy your asian section because I am not familiar with how to cook typical foods from that part of the world. I like Thai food, curries etc, but it is out of my comfort zone. Your straightforward instructions, substitution recommendations and videos are a big help.
Lastly, I love your local culture, local views of that part of the world. I thought your travel set was wonderful. Keep it up! I cant go to Australia these days, but it is really cool to visit it with you. Even your local color (backyard) recipes for you are exotic to me.
Stay well. Thanks for sharing all you do. Keep up the great work.

Hi Nagi!
I love, love, love, your recipes! They are easy and fast and I usually have every ingredient. And I love the daily Dozer section…I look forward to him just as much as the food! I would love more meat mince recipes, of all kinds, from all over. You have a ton already, but, more is good too lol. I also really enjoyed the salads…all of the salads! And yes I’m always ready for more Dozer! Thank you for all of the great recipes, they have really been a blessing!
Thank you for your delish recipes, the lentil soup is outstanding! My mom used to make a simple “very dry” cocoa cake without flour or eggs (don’t remember which) have looked high and low in some old Hungarian cookbooks to no avail, I’d be so grateful if you could help. Brgds, Irene
Love your recipes and have many on high rotation. I have started eating mostly low carb and low sugar (keto-ish!) so some recipes that have substitutions for flour, sugar, etc would be great, or that are keto friendly.
Hi Nagi: thanks so much for your recipes. I am trying to get better at Asian flavor profiles and would love those types of recipes.
