Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

Definitely less red meat, less cheese, more vegetable dishes with readily available veggies and of course more Dozer.

I would love a collection of ‘guilt free’ healthy snacks, especially for after the gym/working out! 🙂

Love reading your posts & recipes. I have a husband who can’t eat garlic &/or onion which makes things difficult, but I adjust recipes where I can 🙂 I would love to see recipes ‘for two’ or hints on what to do when reducing the number of serves. In some cases, I know it is not quite as simple as “halve everything” for a 4 serve dish. 🙂 Cheers!

Love your recipes Nagi- haven’t had a bad one 🙂

I’d love to see more fish and veggie recipes (that aren’t beans please!!). Trying to move away from eating meat (including chicken and turkey) and would love to hear your favourite fish/plant-based recipes. Bonus points if they’re inspired by different regions of the world especially Asian, South American and Middle East flavours (i.e. your ceviche recipes!)

I’d love to see more traditional/regional desserts as well – maybe like the Japanese cheesecake, or Hokkaido Cheese tarts (I couldn’t find these recipes from your mom’s site!)

    Greetings Nagi

I really enjoy your recipes n Video instructions. I’ve passed on your blog to my daughter that really doesn’t enjoy cooking/baking because it all seems so challenging. But, she has learned so much from your site n is slowly coming around to semi enjoy preparing meals.
What got her kick started was your no fuss artisan Dutch oven bread. She has gone on to make soooo many loaves for gifts n also a way to say thank you. She wraps n delivers them in pretty cotton tea towels tied with jute !!

Thank you for your creative n ever so personable posts!!

I’d love to see some gluten free baking recipes. N also a pancit recipe

Thanks for sharing Dozer!! He’s a handsome brut!! ❤️

More vegetarian “main” meals please! Most vegetarian dishes are just sides, would love to have something filling on its own. Maybe a slow cooked vegetarian feast?

Nagi, could you add some recipes that use Shirataki noodles. I’ve had them in a Ramen House in place of regular Ramen noodles and they weren’t bad.

Please give Dozer a treat, he needs one!

Quick, delicious meals, or a category for anything under 20-30mins. Tray bakes would be amazing too. Busy working mumma here, who is time poor.

    Hi Nagi,

    Happy new year,

It’s not always easy finding meals that are “transplant” friendly. They are largely similar to pregnant diets but in my case the addition of no lettuce or spinach.

I sub with cabbage where I can, or have bookmarked for when I get the all clear.

The other thing I have been trying to find is couscous and quinoa recipes. I have used your couscous recipes and loved them which is made my intrigue even greater to find different recipes.

I found your site while being in hospital for treatment 18 months ago, and have been hooked ever since. Your recipes have been a massive therapeutic aspect of my time at home. Cannot thank you enough.
