Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I grew up in New York City. Is there a recipe for Honey Noodles? It was like a Chinese version of rice crispies, with honey and peanuts. I’ve done searches for it, but nothing. Can you help?

I love your recipes so much! I’d love more quick and easier dinner recipes for busy nights. Lunch ideas are always welcome too. Tasty, quick and healthy is something I’m looking for in 2021!
Oh and I would never go past some sort of weekly meal planner or and email with a weeks worth of meals like one fish, one veggie, 3 quick meals etc would be amazing. Keep up the great work 😍

Thank you so much for all your recipes!! I discovered your website while trying to find something new to cook while in lockdown here in the US. I have been using it ever since. Love it!!

Suggestions on what I would like to see more of – since you are asking 😉
    -slow cooker recipes
    -desserts
    -meal planning
    -soups/stews
-ground beef recipes (always seem to have a lot of that in the house)

Thanks for asking for our opinions! I am sure whatever you come up with will be amazing.

Tasty cleanse recipes, please! Every so often I do a two-week diet reset that excludes dairy, gluten, soy, sugar (other than honey and maple syrup), eggs, and beef. The problem is, so many recipes are blah or require a zillion ingredients. I almost always strictly follow your recipes, so I would love to see some of your options. (I do sub or omit some of your ingredients in existing recipes already!) Thank you!

Nagi, thank you for your wonderful food blog (and Dozer!) and invitation to weigh in for 2021. I would love to see some nutritionally balanced dinner recipes for those eating vegan. A lot of people, my daughter included, are turning to vegan diets and there are a lot of recipes out there, but very few deliver meals that meet full daily requirements for protein and key nutrients If you could develop a few recipes that are nutritionally balanced (as well as your trademark delicious) it would be fantastic.

Would really love a tag on all recipes that are super fast and simple for families with young kids and no time (but definitely don’t dial back any flavours!). Dinners in 20/30 mins, casseroles minimal prep, slow cookers with ideally no cook prep, really simple fast but tasty pressure cooker meals. Definitely don’t dial back the flavour though – that’s why we love your recipes! We want our kids (2.5 years and 7 months) exposed to lots of interesting flavours. One pot stuff as much as possible too please. Maybe a ‘minimal prep’ tag? Or ‘fast family dinners’? Really love your recipes!

    Hello Mahi
Your name has become our household name with your blog being our go to for meals. I recently had my 2nd son and having 2 kids under two, it has been a challenge getting dinner ready on time. We got instant pot which it has cut my cook time into half. I would love it if you made more of instant dishes. Thanks 😘

O nagi, you are so sweet—my only request is to keep doing what you do to perfection! whatsoever takes your fancy you invariably present in such a way i simply have to try it too. i love that about your site. i love the variety & quality. you are a star. sure veggies are always on, we all want to be healthy. sure freezer stuff b/c we all want a fall back plan. but most importantly you have an amazing gift for knowing what we want & showing us how to make it perfectly—way before we even knew that’s what we wanted. your sixth sense is what sets you apart for other sites. i suppose it’s a gift dozer taught you, i’m sure he’s been reading your mind for years, & it was inevitable that it would rub off. 😉

I love everything I’ve tried from you (and I tried a LOT of your recipes!)
For 2021, I’d like for you to suggest more tofu dishes (my family and I are trying to get to like it…)
Also, I’ve been hoping for a good fish laap recipe!
    Havé a great year, Nagi!

Hello, Nagi! Love you and Dozer, of course! I would love it if you could post a recipe for mac and cheese in a sauce – I guess not baked, but something you can do on a stove top. Love all your recipes!!! Thanks so much!
