It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
would love a bo kho (viet beef stew) recipe.
Thank you so much for sharing your delicious recipes. They are easy and convenient, I don’t need to hunt for any fancy schmancy ingredients. You have definitely made dinners less predictable in my house! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!<3
Hey Nagi, low carb PLEASE. It won’t be easy, however, I just know anything you put out there for us will be divine.
Hi Nagi, thanks for your great work with this blog! I would love quick dinners that are ‘healthy’ ie low cal/carb. Thank you!
I love your website, I’ve cooked lots of recipes and passed them onto others. My tummy doesnt agree to a lot of creamy milky sauce recipes which I love, is there a substitute sauce please?
Vicki
Would love a great recipe for the Malaysian street food Char Kway Teow. Have it everytime we go to our favourite Asian restaurant but would love to make it at home. Thanks
I think you will find (if you do a search) that Nagi already has a recipe for this.
Love the dog in the pool shot. I am jealous. I live in Colorado and we just got snow. Not complaining really but a dip in a warm pool would certainly be nice. Would love to see a few more vegetarian entree recipes although it is not a big deal with some of your “meat” recipes to substitute.
Keep up the great site. I do enjoy it!
Love everything you do.
Some low fat calorie controlled meals for those wanting to lose weight.
Easy lunchbox ideas
More fish
Happy New Year!
Thank you for all your wonderful recipes. If you can share some more recipes of
1. Vegetarian food
2. Middle Eastern food
that would be great.
Thanks.

Hi Nagi,
I absolutely love your recipes!
I would love some basic stir fry sauce recipes so that I don’t need to rely on supermarket packets. I often ask my husband what he would like for dinner and he says a stir fry – I always have noodles in the fridge (or rice in the pantry), chicken, vegies etc but would like to know a variety of easy tasty sauces I could whip up for week night dinners. Thanks again!!
My general request would be more lunch recipes and my specific request would be fried pickles! Also bananas are the absolute worst! Even the smell of them makes me gag.
Hi Nagi & Dozer 😉 I was wondering if you could show us food prep.. Nah, not just for everyday life, food prep for weight loss.. we see all these weightloss sites & there food preps but they go on & on & zzzzzz (sleep mode here lol).. could you possibly show us (not lazy) but (quick get me outa kitchen) peeps some very simple food prep ideas, Thanks In Advance,, Sue
I have made several of your recipes and all have turned out great. I really like your blog. The only thing I would like to see is smaller portions. I cook for myself, my wife and my son. It’s just the three of us and they don’t eat a lot of leftovers. I usually do, but we tend to throw out a lot of leftover food and I wish we could figure out a way to not cook so much to begin with. Thank you and keep up the great blog!!
Love your recipies Nagi! Thank you so much for the last year’s worth! I think just keeping up the variation that you manage is amazing, it brings me so many good new ideas!
Your take on cook at home copies of restaurant or take away meals. Would love to be able to replicate some of the Banana Blossom chain’s salads. Yum!!!

Chicken and mushroom filo pies!
Ideas on how to “Pimp up” those 2 Minute noodles, for those in a hurry, would be good.
While in Melbourne 2019 visiting family I discovered Breakfast salads, as a vegetable lover but not a vegetarian I would have these every morning we went out for delicious Aussie coffee. I live in Vancouver BC and have never seen anything which resembles these. I don’t know if this is just in Melbourne or spread around your country, but I would love to be able to have a breakfast salad because our yearly Australian trips are on hold for quite awhile.
