It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi, Love your site and the Dozer. I sit here with my boy (beaglier) and read it.
I’d love just a one word at end of recipes to say if they are freezable. I’m on my own so it would help for some of the bigger recipes I’d love to try. Keep up the great work, loving it.
Hi Nagi,
I love all your recipes! If I really had to ask for something, it would be lunch ideas and pre-prepped freezer friendly meals.
Most importantly, more Dozer!!
Thank you
Thank you for the recipes. I would like to dim sum recipes.
Thank you.
Hi Nagi! I would love more Asian food, more fish, low carb and freezer friendly recipes 🙂
Thank you and have a wonderful 2021!
Hi Nagi !
I’ve tried so many of your recipes and loved them all, your site is my go to! Would love to see more low carb/ keto recipes please!
Thanks!
I have been seeing many unusual fruits and vegetables from different countries. I am not familiar with them and dont know how to eat, cook or what to do with it. Is it for flavouring, main vegy, what can it be eatin with? For example I have Jack fruit, small round eggplants, lotus root. Stuff like that would be interesting to explore.
Hi!
I would love to see more:
1. Quick with minimum ingredients recipes
2. Low calories
3. European, Greek, Middle East
4. Vegetarian
Hi Nagi, would love some low carb high protein meals! Though most of your meals can be adjusted to this pretty easily! Would also love some Singapore/Chinese/lunar new year recipes as I usually travel to Singapore around now, but with corona, it’s obviously denting those plans 😂 thanks!
More more more Dozer (I’m a superfan)! And if you have an Instant Pot, I’d love some of your recipes with that as well, please. Thanks for all the recipes you share! 🙂
Hi Nagi! I learned to cook through your site. Now, it is always my go-to site for new recipes.
I would love to have more work lunch/packed lunch/reheat-able in the microwave/oven recipes (preferably prepped in advance).
I would also love more large batch yet freezer friendly food. Thank you!
I’d love to see keto/low carb recipes
Hi Nagi could you do an array of tasty sauces? Ie for fish, chicken etc. Just good basics that one can add a few ingredients to that will provide some variety.
More vegetarian mid week easy meals please! I like to have a break from meat at least once a week.
Hi Nagi. thank you for your recipes! Yup, more greens/vegetarian/vegan foods but Asian version!! Which is harder to find recipes for, unlike e.g pasta salad or quinoa salad. I want something for RICE!!! Of course full feast and slow cook features are also interesting. is that too much to ask? xD
Hi Nagi! I love your recipes. You are also a very talented writer which makes it a pleasure to read your blog.
I am on maternity leave but going back to work soon. For those busy weeknights, I am planning to prepare freezer meals in advance that I can just dump in my pressure cooker. So I would be interested in freezer meals for pressure cooker!
Thank you,
In the vast realm of food blogs, I always return to yours for the excellent flavours and recipes that actually work first time! If you would consider creating a tagine recipe or two, it would be greatly appreciated – I received a tagine for Xmas and am exploring its possibilities 😁. Best wishes to you and Dozer!
This is not exactly a food request but I would love to have a RecipeTin app where I can browse recipes, save my favourite, add my own notes, and even see what’s popular among others for inspiration!
Hi Nagi, would love more Asain food, lots of it lol. Street food, mains, dessert, salads, soups. Everything yum yum. Your a superstar xx
Def nothing with bananas. I’m with you on that one.
Low carb meals.
Low calorie work lunches.
Just love your recipes.
Keep up the fantastic blog. I have introduced you to so many of my family and friends and they all cook Nagi style now.
Hi Nagi. Always enjoy your recipies.
More slow cooker recipies would be good – especially curry.
Many thanks
Rory
