It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Would love a quick and easy slow cooker beef massaman recipe please! Also I love the idea of more veggie based mains 🙂
https://promotown.info/lamb-shanks-in-massaman-curry/%3C/a%3E%3Cbr /> I made this recipe with lamb shanks at the weekend and it was delicious…..in the notes for the recipe beef ideas are mentioned.
My nursing baby has cows milk allergy, so I’m suddenly unable to have any dairy! A “dairy free” tab on your “recipe by category” option would be amazing. Love your work! xx
I would like more Asian inspired recipes, and recipes without a lot of added sugar.
Love your recipes, I have at least one every week.
Some easy cookies would be handy, I only do choc chip which are great but a change would be nice.
PS I know what you mean about the smell of Banana !!!
I’d be super keen on your ideas on how to reduce waste from the kitchen and how to use scraps that aren’t regularly used from Fruit/Vegetables/Meat. Aside from making stock as my freezer can only store so much!
Low calorie! Pleaseeee healthy and satisfying
Easy and quick desserts I can whip up after dinner for the hubby and kids. Def more meat options!! Preferably slow cook shredded beef fall apart beef (on stove or oven) dishes . Also some Lebanese / Middle Eastern meals too would be nice. Even more Indian currys too. Look forward this year for all your new content!! (Currently cooking your beef ragu ab absolute family fave) xx
More dessert options would be great!
I’m 💯 with you on no bananas. 🤢. Everything I’ve tried from your blog is delicious. I’d love a recipe for Beef Chow Fun.
I love all our recipes, especially how you walk through the method and provide other helpful tips. I try a lot of them. I’m not much of a dessert maker, I guess that’s why I’m not so good at it.
Just keep them coming, I love all your recipes you have made me a much better cook thank you.
I made a recipe from another website which was chicken rissoles with apricot/french onion soup sauce/gravy. Terrible -rissoles very bland and sauce too salty…needed much less soup mix. Would love to see recipes for tastier chicken rissoles. First time I had used chicken mince !
Love all your ideas, it’s great to have a lo cal option you often suggest, I would also like slow cooks and jazzing up fresh veges. ❤️Dozer
Request from my teens: easy, quick, filling, transportable lunch ideas!
Lunches that can be for home, work, school or uni – and that can fill up growing boys! Thank you Nagi. 🙂
More slow cooker recipes please! And dairy free ones as well.
I love love love your recipes Nagi!
Nagi I love how you recreate favorite restaurant recipes to cook at home. My family are craving a dish called coconut chicken from a restaurant called The Bali Grill which used to be open in Rosalie in Brisbane. It was a simple dish chicken breast strips in a mild satay coconut sauce just served on rice and pak choy. I’ve tried to recreate this with no luck. Wonder if you have any ideas or have tried a similar Balinese dish? We really miss this restaurant it closed after the 2011 floods as the owners lost their house and had no insurance to rebuild.
More quick with huge flavour meals for working parents
Plant based takes on all the amazing Asian recipes you have on your blog!
Freezer friendly please!
I would love to see more of the complete feasts recipe series. I made a thai banquet last year for my mum with your recipes and I’d love to do more! Thanks Nagi, you’re my favourite recipe writer xx
I would love to make the Spicy Chilli Chicken, the Korean Fried Chicken like they serve at Strathfield Sports Club. I would prefer to bake rather than fry the chicken. I remember how you you cleverly developed a method to bake rather than fry Buffalo Wings, a similar would be excellent. Love the recipe for the sauce in particular. Thank you 🙏
