It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Low cal
The thing I long for most is more clarity in your recipes. I find the recipes quite simple however it’s when you include tips & notes it all becomes So confusing. I’ve spoken to two other friends I’ve shared your emails with and they agree. Too much information!
Sezchuan Beef pleeeeeease xxx
Hi Nagi. Happy New Year! All I can tell you is to just keep being you! I so do love all your posts, and so does my hubby as I do make a lot of your recipes. I especially like it when you mention different substitutions. Very helpful! The only other thing I can think of is maybe more recipes for 2. Empty nesters now!. Thanks for everything. Stay safe and well!
I discovered your site last year and it is my first pick for any recipes. I love your sausage rolls, thai basil chicken, slow cooker roast lamb and many more. I have recently bought an air fryer and would like some recipes for that. Also perhaps more vegan recipes. Pat Dozer for me.
I love your recipes and I love following Dozer.
I realize that it isn’t the cuisine that you grew up with, but how about a German recipe or two; sauerbraten, pork shanks i sauerkraut, etc,?
Hi Nagi!
First Thank you for all your wonderful recipes, so yummy!
Second or should I confess and say First 😍 yes please more pictures and stories of Dozer. I just adore how much you love your baby boy and such a good mama you are!
Have a fabulous day and hugs to Dozer

Happy new year! Love Dozer and his life 🙂 I’m not a great cook and in all honesty, don’t necessarily love cooking the way others do. But I love simple recipes that someone who doesn’t cook often can “master” or take a lot of time. Hope this makes sense!
Happy New Year Nagi. I would love to see more hearty meals for my “meatless Monday’s”. But really just keep up the good work – I always watch your videos first before trying the recipe – so very helpful for a non-chef like me.
Hello Nagi,
I love all your news letters and recipes and so I don’t really have any requests. Just keep on doing what you have been doing. It’s great!
Hi Could you help with some good low carb recipes? Maybe even vegetarian? I find it impossible to skip meat and carbs sometimes.
In all fairness i am a non-vegetarian, but want to have a more balanced approach to food and not hog on meat in the name of low carb diet.
Hi Nagi I need to start carb free dinners and I am already sick of chicken soy sauce and ginger stir fry is there anything appealing please?
Firstly I LOVE you, and being in Melbourne your thoughtfulness was really appreciated.
What I would like help with is:
As a person who loves meat but also greens I am keen on the more greens less meat option, and also the low cal as our daughter is getting married and I need to shed a few kilos
I would really appreciate a regular section of exceptional, 5-7 ingredient, low complexity intercultural recipes. I think all your readers would.
I really agree, especially during COVID-19. I was alway down to the last couple of ingredients in the fridge but never knew what to do with them.
I enjoy all of your recipes, as does my family, but seeing as you asked, low carb please! Oh and definitely NO complaints from me about no banana recipes (blah!) 😉
Would love more low calorie options please! And work lunch ideas. Would also love some more slow cooker recipes please! 🙂
Magi I Forgot to mention, If possible for some baby food recipes 6 month old plus? Even some for toddlers? That will be super helpful!! Just some easy and quick. My little girl is 6 months and I would really love some ideas that I can make for her that’s filling and healthy x
Love to see more hearty vegetarian dishes that are healthy and tasty (you’re very good at that). For example, I love Hetty McKinnons’ salads but find her ingredients not as accessible and pantry ready as yours.
Recipes that uses eggs. 🐔🐔🐔
Vegatarian and Vegan recipes…
This year I would like to increase the number of days that I am meatless.
Love the recipes I’ve tried but my favorite so far is your pork carnitas. I’ve cooked it several times and it’s always a hit. But what really makes me smile is that I’m a Texan, living in New Mexico (USA) and the best recipe I’ve found for carnitas came from a cook in Australia! Rock on, girl! I’m sure whatever you post will be awesome -and I can live without bananas, too.
