It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hello Nagi. I’m the cook in our family and I really enjoy (and rely!) on your recipes! One thing I’ve had trouble finding is a really good Okonomiyaki recipe. Perhaps you know of one? Thank you 🙂
Hi Nagi and Dozer – love your recipes, Nagi, so much. I have a child with a nut allergy and I’d love some suggestions on what to use as a substitute for them. I always have toasted pepitas on hand to sprinkle on salads instead of walnuts etc. but what else can I use? Desperately need some inspiration! Thanks 🙂
Please Nagi: More healthy recipes: Gluten, sugar and dairy free.
Hey Nagi! I initially struggled to think of anything because I swear you’ve done it all! But I’d love your take on a beef Wellington and also some more vegetarian dinner recipes! (Ironic I know).
Thanks for all you do! Have the best year 🥰
How about an English Muffin recipe? Been on the lookout for one for a while!
Also maybe some recipes for the air fryer!
More of chinese chicken recipes please!I love all your recipes.❤️
stir fried sauses
Hi Nagi! How about a really nice carbonara recipe? I struggle to find a nice one from scratch that isn’t too gluggy. Thanks!
I missed you on your break, Nagi! I’m always talking about “My favorite food blogger, Nagi” – you’re famous among my friends and family!
Keep doing what you’re doing – your recipes, your comments, tips, sub suggestions, etc are all so helpful.
Something that I would love to see though are videos from you showing more of your techniques and TEACHING us how to do the recipe prep in the top that you say. You have sometimes mentioned tips in various recipes (and in your recent list of favorite kitchen tools, but I would LOVE a Nagi Prep Cook Course to see how you’re able to do things so quickly! My only frustration with your recipes is that it takes me 2 – 4 times as long to “prep” the ingredients as what you list (someone has to chop the onions, mince the garlic, etc, etc before being able to make the dish.
Keep doing what you’re doing, and keep posting recipes for what you know and love! And always keep the Dozer pics and stories coming!
Would love kids lunch box ideas. My daughter hates sandwiches and wraps.
Love all your recipes especially your Asian ones
I share them so often
I am a big fan of your ideas from around the world
Thank you
Vegetarian main meals. Side dishes. Maybe European meals.
I love your recipes! I have made many of them, most recently the standing rib roast for Christmas. It was a big hit! Perhaps I don’t know past recipes well enough, but I could use more vegetarian main dishes. I have substituted tofu for the sticky chicken stir fry, but could use some more ideas.
Again, your blog is so fun to follow!! Thank you for making it interesting, light-hearted, and professional.
Maybe a “destination” series cos we all can’t go anywhere…. Like Kao Soi for Chiang Mai, slow cooker biryiani for Mumbai, schitnies and sides for Berlin, Poutine for Quebec, okonomiyaki for Okinawa….etc….your content is my go to but it might add a bit more fun!
Definitely more veggie dishes that stand as main content for a meal. Also tasty quick lunches as we are sick of sandwiches !
Fried chicken nuggets. I buy the powder from a Japanese store and its quite expensive. Too bad I can’t attach a picture to my comment. It’s by a brand Nissin, nisshin.com I tried some recipes online but the kids did not approve of any of them. I was hoping you may come up with a good recipe. This one from the store is crunchy and sticks to the chicken when cooked, won’t peel off. Thank you!!
If you google ‘nissin chicken powder’ it’s one of the first results that comes up.
Hi Nagi! I love your site.
I would love to see more EASY recipes for BEGINNER cooks portioned for COUPLES <3
And more Dozer news! 🙂
Hi Nagi, I love your recipes. I have recently discovered that I have Coeliac so any recipes that are gluten free or gluten free substitutes in your menu notes as a permanent fix would be much appreciated.
Hi Nagi and Dozer : )
I’d like to throw my hat in the ring for a simple, tasty muesli slice recipe.
OOOH! Perking up at this – I want one too! 🙂 Just got added to my list – N x
Please can I have a recipe for Szechwan chicken please ? Xx
