It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Work lunch ideas that are calorie friendly and always more Dozer.
Hi Nagi,
As I’ve said previously, you have given me a boost to enjoy every day cooking again and given me the confidence to try the same old ingredients the new ‘Nagi’ way !
I love the one pan dishes, perfect for that mid week meal, you have taken us back to the USA with your pastrami, smoky beans with corn bread muffins. Fail proof slow cooked turkey buff plus the best summer punch for Christmas.
THE most moist muffins and cupcakes and a great choice of home made salad dressings…plus much much more!
What I haven’t found in your recipes are preserves ! We have quite an abundance of veges I like to make chutneys and other preserves though I haven’t really been that happy with the results !
Would you be interested?? Nothing to do with 🍌🤣
I am also very interested in low carb with lean meats and lots of mains using veges !
Thankyou again Nagi !
P.s Don’t skimp on Dozer pics and stories in 2021!
Would love some asian dessert recipes! And, of course, more Dozer!
Thank you!
Nagi I would love to see you do Air Fryer recipes. I’ve just gotten one and think it’s fantastic! I think you would excel at creating air fried food that is absolutely delicious.
Hello Nagi & Dozer,
Love your site & emails.
Certainly do not want any less of Dozer (I had a Golden when I was boy, loved her very much).
As far as food goes Nagi,
Would you do a Lemon Chicken (Like you get from a Chinese take away), I know you have done a Honey Chicken but would love your version of Lemon Chicken.
Could you also make a Spaghetti or Fettuccini Carbonara (Australian version please with Eggs, Bacon & Cream & even Onion).
And finally Nagi, anything with canned Tuna, I love it.
Thanks Nagi, Happy New Year to you & Dozer.
Ned
Hard to think of a food category that you don’t already cover so well but I would like to see a few recipes for non alcoholic bases that we can use for mocktails. Eg mix of botanicals made into a base for what would normally be gin based drinks. Banana free always!
Hi Nagi, love to try out your recipes regularly! Would love to get some low carb recipes that aren’t boring 🙂
Thanks!
More Asian takeaway inspired recipes!
Hi Nagi
Can you please incorporate your mother’s Japanese recipe blog into your own with your videos, photos, commentary etc. Loved the gyoza on your site now want more!
I would like to have some easy recipes for an instant pot and some for using an air fryer,
I enjoy reading about Dozer and his adventures.
I would really love some tasty hearty salad recipes that don’t involve onion or chili 🙂 I can’t eat either as they hurt my tongue, but they seem so essential flavourwise to most vegetable dishes.
I would love to see more vegetarian recipes, including using pulses and lentil. I’m not vegetarian but I run out of ideas. I have your savoury muffins in oven right now!
Work lunch recipes, instant pot recipes, Japanese bento recipes and complete menu recipes! But really anything that you feel is you would be fantastic x
I would love as per your list, more fish, complete menus and slow cooker recipes. I love all your Asian takeout recipes and I would really enjoy simple but tasty bbq recipes that involve meat/fish and vegetables so the meal is done on the bbq. My husband will not bbq due to messy marinades etc and it becomes more work for me just to prep for it so I want to learn how to do it myself….thanks Nagi and Happy New Year to you and Dozer!
I love everything of yours.
I would love to see more vegetarian ( eggless) foods/desserts. I love trying vegetarian meals, most recipes
call for eggs but I have an egg allergy 😭
Hello Nagi, happy new year from the Netherlands (Egmond aan Zee) I would like to see some delicious different sambal recipes. I love sambal. Thanks, love you (dozer too) Peter S
I would love an apricot chicken recipe! So daggy but so delicious!
I would love more slow cooker recipes and tip son making dough using a food processor.
Also, slightly different, tips for maintaining your cookware, like looking after stainless steel pans, like should I season them?
Your site is my favourite for recipes. Thanks.
My son has just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, some healthy recipes for me to make for him would be awesome
More Low Cal please. Love all the ones you have. Especially for weeknights so I can get eat non-low cal on weekends.
