It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
How anon some easy information on types of noodles and what tasty sauces to make.
Thank you for all your wonderful recipes to date and the detailed reasons why to follow certain procedures.
Hi Nagi! I love everything you post but I’d love to see some more Instant Pot friendly recipes – ie slow cooker or pressure cooker. Thanks x

Hi Nagi! Gluten free recipes would be great, and especially if you can come up with a decent gluten free bread recipe. It’s really expensive to buy and it tastes awful.
I love your website Nagi! I would love to see some Malaysian recipes.. would totally try to cook Nasi Lemak is you had a recipe for it. Your recipes always turn out so well 😄
Love this blog, my go to if I want to find a recipe!
More desserts! Some dessert pies? Your pumpkin pie is amazing… some more dough related recipes would be awesom, like babka etc…. thank you for all the hard work you put into these recipes xxxx
Hi Nagi, thank you so much for all this. I’d be keen for more lunch ideas for work etc. if possible please. Hope you and Dozer are doing well! 😊
Hi and Happy New Year, Nagi! 🤗 I would like to begin to thank you so, so much for your fantastic blog and sharing your lovely and brilliant recipes with us all the time ❤️ I love it, and I’m a BIG fan and everytime I cook something hubby and family and friends don’t even ask where I got the recipe from, because they know it’s from recipetineats😊🤗 I love food and cooking/baking, but I was never talented at it; your recipes and ideas have helped me improve in it and become even more passionate about it, and I’ve been mostly cooking and baking solely using the recipes from your blog for the past few years ever since I came across it; also, I now have a well-equipped pantry 😉
Anyway, sorry for my extra long message! I love the recipes the variety of recipes on your blog, but would love to see more health and low-carb food ideas, as well as ideas for baby’s/toddler’s food as well as Dog food 🐶😊 Also, more adorable Dozer news, too, please 🦮❤️🤗
Take care, especially in these Covid days! xo
Oh, sorry, I meant to also say more vegeterian main dish ideas, too, please if possible 🤗
Hi Nagi, I fell upon your website & cooked your recipe for beef & Guinness stew which was delicious 😋. I have now signed up for your newsletter & downloaded the 3 free recipe books, thank you.
My question/confusion is…in some of your recipes you use imperial & metric measurements (which is great 👍) but in some you use the cup as a measurement 🤷♀️Which I find confusing as I am unsure if you mean the American measurement which I don’t know (Irish girl living in the UK) & as you don’t put imperial or metric with it I am totally lost 😞.
Can you please clarify.
Many thanks Vicky
I would like some low fat, healthier dishes with more veg and fish.
I agree with you Nagi. No bananas. Ever.
Your recipes are awesome. If you every publish a hardcover recipe book? I will buy one for myself and then I will never have to think about presents for my friends ever again. One of your books, every time.
Thank you for making cooking so enjoyable.
Hello! Duck recipes! Turkey recipes (not only for holidays, but for any weekday). Thanks!
Dear Nagi,
Happy New Year and happy cooking.
I would love a physical cookbook!! Have been following you since a couple of years and love the way you cook. I would love to see some more low calorie recipes if possible. Keep on posting about Dozer! regards from the Netherlands (I’m jealous about your weather)
Maybe some old retro & nostalgic recipe’s could be fun!
Would love a great go-to recipe for golden syrup dumplings and apricot chicken! More gluten-free options or GF recipe notes would be fab too 🙂
Hi Nagi, Id like to have some recipes that are diabetic friendly. Low sugar low carb ones.
Hi Nagi and Dozer,
Love you both. I would maybe like to see some weekly family menus/plans eg. 7 day dinners, quick and easy and very tasty as per usual ones. Also, more vege based would come in handy, cause I am starting new diet…. again. thanks.
