Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I absolutely love your recipes and honestly scroll on your page on a daily basis to inspire me. I have three daughters who have different pallets so I love the variety of your recipes.
Maybe you can a couple of on the go, pack friendly recipes. We tend to eat on the go quite a bit once softball season starts. Thank you and keep sharing Dozer stories, we love him.

More easy no knead bread recipes. Bro-law could NOT stop eating dinner rolls and everyone love 💕 no knead crunchy bread. Use almond flour? etc

I love the Australian approach to varying traditional recipes with new and fresh tastes. Would love some interesting pesto recipes. Also, here in the US all of the store-bought dips are really boring (mostly just variations on hummus). I love the dips you can buy in Australian supermarkets – eg combinations of cashews, chillies, capsicum, etc. Would love suggestions on how to make my own.

Freezer meals in all shapes and sizes! Meaning that either meals prepped to be cooked or already cooked. I am thinking chicken skewers in a variety of marinades ready to be grilled.Secondly healthier meals, low calorie. YOU ARE THE BEST!

I would love more ideas for group appetizers that won’t cause diabetes or heart attacks! The kind of night where you’re just in with friends but are sick of ordering pizza. Crowd pleasing but somewhat healthy snacks/group meal ideas that can be made with things typically already in the kitchen. Thanks for sharing all your tasty creations!

    Hi Nagi,
Thanks for your lovely blog, it brings a smile to my face whenever I open it. Your genuine enthusiasm and kindness comes through!!
Struggling here in California with two kids and the forever lockdown just because people refuse to wear masks and keep partying. 🙁

I would love to have more non-red meat alternatives: fish, tofu, nuts, beans, etc. and more veggies and more instant pot meals… and love to Dozer… wish we had his calming presence in our household 🙂

Nagi, you are the first true kindred spirit when it comes to flavor! Most of the time I read a bunch of recipes and then make my own. After living in Asia for a number of years my taste buds are truly spoiled! When I found your blog and tried a few recipes I told my husband that this is the first person who’s recipe I could follow exactly and trust it would really taste great!
My request for 2021 would be work lunch ideas. I don’t like giving my husband bread (sandwiches) and processed meat day after day, but I am at a loss for what to send in his lunchbox.

    Love you and Dozer!!
Seems there are many of us vegetable lovers, I too would like veggie dishes, I have not eaten meat in over 40 years ( I am old). Must say that you have never put up a recipe that was a failure, thanks.
P.S. your Moms recipes are pretty good too.

Hi Nagi, we love your dishes here in Oklahoma! We make many of them on a weekly basis! Valentines day is coming up and my husband loves gyro sandwiches. I have successfully made the sauce once tried to use a flank steak to produce something similar to a gyro. I’ve even tried a regular gyro recipe and I just keep doing something wrong!
So my suggestion would be a simply delicious gyro sandwich with taziki sauce!

Hi Nagi, I’d like to see a section based on say 5 to 6 ingredient meals and treats.

I know you do already have some but I thought it may be good to have a section specifically for it?

Keep up the great work, love all your recipes and this is my go to site with an ever growing favourites list!

Hi Nagi. I love meat! But I’m also trying to eat less of it. In the New Year, I started “meatless Monday” and I’ve successfully made it through one only. The problem I’m finding is that even though Mac & cheese or potatoes are vegetarian, it’s not a healthy or complete meal. I’m looking for one stop shop meals which have a complete protein, not always curry flavored, includes veggies and tastes great! Up for the challenge?

Mercy! In our home, that’s the name of our sous chef wanna be and taster, except she’s a yellow lab. She’s raw fed from local farms. So Dozer is a household name. Your recipes are one of my go to sites. Whatever you are excited about food wise is what I like
