Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

You are amazing Nagi, you write to us as if you were talking to just one person! – making us feel special!
Love your recipes and have shared them with lots of friends.
I love dinner in a bowl recipes. And salads that keep well too.

I’d love to have some more vegetable sides (like easy roast veggies) and meat mains without carbs. It would also be fun to have some recipes on how to cook freezer veggies in a delicious manner. Frozen peas, brussel sprouts (Is it possible to cook those frozen things and make something good? Ha).

But really everything you publish is amazing. I tailor my diet plan around your menus. I’d rather have a little bit of delicious orechetti pasta w/ sausage than a whole keto chicken and veggies. My family enjoys your recipes every night of the week (no kidding!)

Would love more side suggestions with the main meals – would really love more salads that keep (like the everyday cabbage salad). Would love work lunch suggestions as well.

Hello Nagi, First I wanted to also add that the Dozer posts help get me through the pandemic sitting at home reading recipes and dozer updates. Much appreciated and well writtem (Both the recipes and Dozer paw).
Could you please do a blog on how to properly do home made potato or sweet potato fries? I seem to have too much oil or too less, too crunch or too soggie. I give up on them and need training. Hugs L

One thing that I would love to make is Persian feta like I used to get in Melbourne. I live in Canada and nothing has come as close. And more Dozer, of course! Lucky dog…

I would love some quick and tasty lunchtime recipes or prepare in advance lunchtime recipes. Im at home with a toddler and I often just graze throughout the day as have zero imagination when it comes to lunch ideas.

    Hi Nagi & Dozer,
I have made a lot of your recipes, so delicious! If all possible do you have a recipe for Panang Curry and Chicken
Satay. I understand that Panang is some kind of spice an I right, where can I get some or do you have a recipe to make it homemade? Also do you have any good home cooked meal for two. I love the way you explain every stop in your recipes. Your the best and I’ll keep on cooking.
I hope you have the best day ever.
    Thank you, Rhea

I once had bananas explode on my kitchen counter in the desert heat! I sympathize!! 😂 I’d love to see more quick dinners-under 45 minutes start to finish. And maybe some soups? More Dozer! I have loved everything of yours I try. Keep up the great work! 🥳

Some quick meals would be wonderful, as well as one pot meals. I have 3 young kids who are home for virtual schooling, so by the time dinner comes I am exhausted. Thanks for all your hard work and wonderful recipes 🙂
