It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
A Recipe Tin app!
Hi Nagi, just keep on doing what you are doing. Great, (mostly) easy and tasty recipes with (mostly) everyday ingredients that are suitable for the entire family. I love the Australian sensibility, ingredients available locally and that everthing is in metric, while accessible to your very large international fan base. That’s quite a skill. And your joy in food is palpable. many thanks for bringing beautiful food to so many tables around the world.
PS. I also hate bananas, with the exception of banana cake.
This is my second comment but I would love some Ramen/Udon/Pho recipes.
Hi Nagi
Love all your recipes! However in the interest of health, perhaps more Mediterranean recipes. Many thanks
Maureen
Hi Nagi, at the ripe old age of 66 I am finally learning to love cooking thanks to you and your well-explained recipes. I am so enjoying the accolades I’m getting, but always attribute my success to you. I agree with others – don’t stop showcasing Dozer. What a beautiful dog he is, and your love for him is heartwarming. Regarding what you might add, I often find myself looking for Keto recipes as I have friends who are on that diet for health reasons, so adding that category would be good. Also, recipes that use fish fillets please. I think your Goan Fish Curry was the most spectacularly wonderful meal I’ve made to date, but simple easy everyday meals are what I generally look for. Thanks Nagi – don’t work too hard!
Hi Nagi,Do you have any relish recipes you could recommend.?PS Love your recipes
Hi Nagi, I would love to see recipes that fit into the ‘light on calories’ section. I say this, but I dearly love all of your recipes and videos…it’s totally transformed me as a home cook. Loooove Dozer too! Thank you for everything that you do. X
Hi Nagi. First of all do NOT stop sending posts of Dozer, I so love him.
I am suggesting that cooking hints in a video would be very helpful to a lot of people for example I get confused when recipe says to cut meat along or against the grain? showing how the grain runs on video would b great also how to cut an onion, I take skin off then I cut first thick layer away & discard, should I do this? & a simple trick I think with Capsicum is to punch down stem before cutting, you get my drift, I have been cooking forever but love cooking tips.
Regards, Jennifer. Happy New Year.
Firstly THANK YOU for your recipes, never had a dud!!!
More pescatarian/vegetarian low cal quick weeknight meals would be fab!
After eating non stop for 3 weeks (a LOT of RTE) I’m after some light options 🙂
Your recipes are my favorite and in most cases are our favorites. I would really like to see Gluten Free or Keto recipes using oat flour, almond flour not the GF flour blends which to me aren’t necessarily healthy. I am not fond of fish or BANANAS just like you,:-)
Wishing you all the best in your business from Laguna Beach CA!
More work place meal prep ideas as well as complete menu ideas!
Complete menus, please!
would love to see some inventive veggie dishes that use fresh veg and only pantry staples, I like keeping my cupboards stocked and only shopping for fresh veg!
I think all of your recipes are delicious but perhaps some more healthy but hearty meals (like your chicken pasta bake!)
I am slowly working my way through your recipes, now leaving my comfort zone and being more adventurous. Love one pot meals, they seem to be so full of flavour. I have no requests except don’t work too hard. I love what you do.
Hi Nagi, I love all your recipes you do but if you can do some Complete Menus would be great as I do struggle with pitting it all together. Thank you x
Recipe of Donuts. Thanks!
I enjoy all your recipes, so I say just more of the same.! Also enjoy Dozer pics. Beautiful !!
Hi Nagi.
Love your recipes and commitment to putting out the best tastes food can offer.
I would like to know if you have any preferences or recommendations when it comes to kitchen knives?
Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Keep cooking.
Regards
Paul.
There is already a post on kitchen knives on the site.
More vegetarian meals please! You always make them so delicious!! Don’t supppse you want to dabble in low calorie sweet treats?
