It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
I would love a recipe for beef tataki!
Hi Nagi, Happy New Year! It would be great to see some recipe grouping suggestions (from the excellent recipes you already have) to most efficiently use/leverage staple ingredients (e.g., I tend to have the problem of buying perishable ingredients for a specific recipe and end up having leftover amounts of that ingredient) and sometimes end up tossing them if they go bad – how do I minimize waste by doing better meal/recipe planning? Thank you!
Nagi, I’ve fallen on hard times. I created a go fund me in hopes I can get assistance. Please help share this, if you could. It would mean the world.. love all that you do. Give Dozer boy some love for me.

P.S. would love more pressure cooker ideas! Instant pot too
Would love more pressure cooker recipes. Especially those that can also be frozen so can cook extra. Thanks for all the great recipes much appreciated.
Hi Nagi! I’d be interested in more curry recipes, particularly those utilising a pressure cooker (Instant Pot for our American friends). I regularly use one for all sorts of things and think that a big percentage of your fan base would appreciate both the speed and flavour that pressure cooking brings to so many cuisines. Cheers and thanks for your fantastic recipes and great explanations.
I’d love to see some easy and tasty lunch ideas to be eaten at home. Thank you!
Eggplant parmigiana, please!! TIA
Hi Navi
We are big fans of your recipes in my house! I’d love to see some more vegetarian meals please.
I’m so sorry, I was autocorrected and didn’t spot it until I hit submit. I of course meant Nagi 🤦♀️
Oh!!! Love me some Dozer❣️❣️❣️
Would love how to make India samosa (easy) pie crust with potatoes, peas, ext… curry
Would love to see make ahead work lunch recipes and kimchi recipes!!! This website is my absolute go-to, love your work Nagi, thank you so much
Happy 2021 Nagi & Dozer. Your website is my go-to-place for recipes for every occasion. Since you asked 😉I’d love to see some recipes meant specifically for the new kitchen appliances that have become so popular: instapots, air-fryers, ninja foodies (etc.). Keto & low-carb would be awesome too, help me stay on track with my 2021 resolutions! Thanks Nagi.
Hi Nagi,
Firstly, I’m a long time fan but first time commenter so HELLO and THANK YOU for my favourite recipes. Your recipe notes and explanations make your blog easily my favourite.
I’m pescatarian and on an never-ending journey of wanting to just be a little healthier. I often find vego recipes tend to be carb focussed, so I’d be really keen on more fish & vegetarian recipes that maybe are also low cal/carb. My favourite recipes tend to be Asian influenced, so more of that too would be great.
Thank you so much, hope you’re having a great start to the year!
Like others have said, your Asian recipes are fab. Keep the international content coming. Freezer friendly or “weekend do ahead” prep for weeknight meals after work would be great. Like… do a roast on Sunday then have ideas for two more meals with the pre-cooked meat? Or a dish you can make, then add a couple of extra things the next night to make it different? Anyway, I LOVE your work. I’ve never followed recipes before, just read them then winged it, but yours are worth following. Thanks. (ps, Christmas Cake best fruit cake ever).
Hi Nagi! I would love some more kitchen skills and tips and tricks. I liked seeing your kitchen gadgets post and would love more of that as well as best ways to [insert kitchen task like chop or wash] and any tips and tricks like a top list to know.
More pressure cooker meals (bonus if things can go in from frozen).
And a MOCHI recipe please!!
You’re AMAZING and thank you so much for sharing all you do! You’ve truly made a huge difference and love making your recipes because I trust they will be good and your instructions and explanations are so appreciated and unparalleled.
Hi there Nagi,
Just wanted to say thank you for being my go-to, always. My favourite of your recipes are definitely the Asian inspired ones, and i particularly love when you suggest ingredients found at Asian grocery stores. It seems this is a whole world that is missed by so many other food bloggers and recipe writers! I would love more Thai food this year if you can (esp. a good penang, YUM). It would also be great if you could add in your notes any great veggie additions that could be chucked in to the meals, and love when you mention a healthier alternative. I usually adapt the recipes to try and squeeze as much good stuff in as possible so would love if you also had some advice on this.
From a fellow Northern Beacher (and big fan!)
I love all your rescipes,I use to hate to cook now I love it,thanks to you and love that you include Dozer,it makes it so personal.Thank you booth.
Hi!!! Happy New Year, I missed you!
For sure, I want more, more, more of Dozer, I love him!!!
What I would love to see more of is Asian food such as Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese. And also foods with a Caribbean flavor.
Thank you!
Love you!!
I’ve enjoyed all of your recipes that I’ve tried. I would enjoy trying your versions of both low carb and make ahead/freezer friendly recipes.
Hi Nagi,
love your site. Would love more Meatless Dishes please.
Kind regards
Andrea
Easy recipes, husband-friendly to make. Fish is good. ANYthing involving peanut sauce is a keeper lol. I already know your recipes are the tastiest 🙂
