It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi, Marmalade and jam recipes would be great. Or do you have some already?
You do a great job Thank you
Can we have some air fryer recipes please? Thank you for all you do
I have a tin of chestnut puree and want to make a cake shaped like a log incl. chocolate and cream.
The french buche de noel is similar but very complex.
I have searched the net but have not found anything!
Cheers, Michael
I bought some pork jowl and would love an easy but yummylicious way to cook it please.
I would love to see some more freezer friendly/ meal prep options in addition to the existing mexican menus. We currently freeze a lot of your pastas and curries.
Please don’t do everything too healthy Nagi!
How about a fruit cake?
I have thought about a sultana and orange cake. Possibly with dark chocolate bits and thin apple slices on the top.
Regards
Hi. I would love freezer friendly meals I can heat up 9n microwave at work, especially with fish/veg.
Hi Nagi, You are probably the first chef we consistently get recipes from, thank you for some great recipes! Would love your take on Hainanese chicken rice. And any more slow cooker recipes greatly appreciated. Thanks Frank
Would love some Irish dishes, thank you always!
Would love it if you can share the White chocolate almond cake from the Tin Shed in Lithgow.
Happy New Year, Nagi. Thank you for all those cooking videos and recipes. They are very clear and easy to follow. Taste good too. Can you do more recipe for short ribs, please? Not the stew version but more like baked or sticky sauce, please. Thank you.
Oooh!!!! You are speaking my language Yulia! Just got added to my list 🙂 N x
Hi Nagi,
Love your work, I can always find something to interest me in your postings. And that includes Dozer!
I love your down to earth attitude and your Aussie humour.
Keep going as you are, all the very best to you for 2021 🥂
Nagi, thank you for your amazing recipes. Your website helped to bring back my joy for cooking after having kids. You wouldn’t know this, but you and Dozer are a big part of our family!!! At dinner my kids ask ‘is this one of Nagi’s?” I would love some recipes that incorporate kangaroo meat as I’ve never found a way to make it tasty but I know you could 😉
I love hearing that Gita! I must confess I do not have a lot of experience with kangaroo, but I do know that the mince works just fine substituted for beef mince in recipes like bolognese etc. I have a LOT of beef mince recipes on my site, so handy it is! Find them all here -> https://promotown.info/category/beef-mince-recipes/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
I would too
Nagi I value all you provide here and I see no reason for you to change a thing. If it aint broke dont fix it 🙂 Happy New Year and may this one be a better one for all. Much Thanks
Hi Nagi. Happy new year. Thank you for updates. I got folder with almost all your recipes. Thank you.
Have you make pandan cake?
I’m happy with whatever you give us. It’s all good..wrapped up in Dozer pics, stories and lots of humor.
I have loved every recipe I’ve cooked. I recently cooked your creamy green beans and corn casserole for Xmas and everyone loved them, thankyou Nagi. The chicken tikka is amazing too.
Are you able include any recipes for large batches for freezing? I know you have the scale but it makes the quantities hard to understand.
Is there any chance you could do Thermomix recipes?
Love the Dozer photo’s 🙂
I would love some creative ideas on the dreaded “school lunches” theme. Simple enough to make in batches or put together night before, even. All I have are ham & cheese sandwiches. And at the risk of the trauma of banana infused sandwich I’ve now noted to keep them far away from each other!
I second this request, and work lunches
Nagi, you have the most delicious, easy, fool-proof recipes and as everyone has already said, you’re my go-to whenever I have to cook something. But alas, all this cooking and eating has been hard on the waistline – if you could add more low-cal recipes, I would be really grateful! I already love the zucchini gratin (even if it takes me a while to make it) and the mapo tofu (the flavours!)!! Thanks heaps 🙂
