Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

re your request for Ideas for this year.
Right now there is an abundant of fresh fruits, Peach , Apricot and Nectarine. Do you have a pie or flan for this type of summer fruits. make a nice lunch with Chardonnay at this time of year.

Hi Nagi you are such an inspiration! I first found your blog when I was living in England (now I am back on Oz) but what I love most is your recipes work no matter where you are in the world.

I have made so many of your wonderful recipes and really like reading other peoples comments. I would love to hear feedback on what are people’s favourite Nagi recipes are, maybe in different categories!

I would also love some more complete menus. For the New Year we had a Mexican Fiesta based on your recipes and I got rave reviews and asked for the recipes!

Now this may be a bit over the top and may largely be because we have just been to the Hunter Valley Wineries but for some of the special menus/ meals it would be great to know what wine to pair them with! I know that is probably a whole new blog but so many of your recipes such as your Massaman Curry are restaurant quality!

I think I have made most of your slow cooker recipes so more of those would be great too.

Thanks again for all your hard work and I always look forward to receiving your emails. 💕

Dicovering your website was really serendipitous Nagi😊 My sister and I have made to thunderous applause many of your delicious recipes. Importantly you are thorough in providing answers/info and tips on every recipe – brilliant, well done! Plant based dishes low fat and cal to help me shed some of the lockdown pounds that have piled on would be appreciated. Love from South Africa to you and adorable Dozer x

Hi Nagi, love your work. I’d like to see some more low carb plant-based and fish recipes please, as I deal with end of the year overindulgence. Thanks!

Your website has changed my life. I have been surfing the web since 1998. This is hands down the best blog ever created in every way. I have been having fun trying to think of a recipe to suggest that is not already published. How many recipes are on your site?!? And all look so good, having trouble choosing what to make next. The only thing I can come up with is chicken, vegetable, beef and fish/seafood stock – especially beef and seafood, it’s hard to find good in the grocery store. I’ve read enough of your blog to know you usually use powder/boxed stock but I would love to know your take on making stock/broth. Keep up the good work! It is appreciated all over the world.

I would love your suggestions fir recipes for those with dietary restrictions (gluten free, lactose free, and especially – but most challengingly- FODMAP free). I love your recipes but health challenges are making it hard to keep using them.

I have become a lot more adventurous in cooking since finding your site. Loved your lockdown recipes from the cupboard as we have a motorhome and they were perfect for camping holidays, always looking for interesting slow cooker recipes. Thanks again x

Oh, girl – I am with you on the bananas, they are such disgusting things; the smell churns my stomach!

More hot ‘n spicy, feasts and international does it for me 🙂

    And more Dozer!

I’ve been looking for a good way to stir-fry broccoli slaw mix. Perhaps included with ramen. I like broccoli slaw on lazy days. Could you do something along these lines? I frequently use your recipies. I also love to hear about Dozer. He cheers up my day. Many thanks for a wonderful website.

Hi Nagi and Dozer. I really love what you do and your recipes are amazing. I would like more slow cooker meals and freezer friendly meals like you suggested. I would also like to see a recipe link that are related to some of the ingredients that you may have had to purchase. For example, I do not like celery as a raw vegetable, but I need to buy it for a recipe, (sometimes you can’t buy just two sticks), I then throw the rest out. If there was that link to other recipes that will use up the rest of the bunch would be great. What do you think about the occasional meal plan for full time workers. A plan for Monday-Friday for the full time worker and keeping it relatively simple. I am so unorganised when I’m working. I’m 56 and should be so much better. On the topic of blaming your mother for the bananas, I blame my mother for putting pepper on my tongue, so I don’t sprinkle pepper on any foods and I don’t eat spicy foods. Love what you do! Nola

Hi Navi, I love what you are already doing and enjoy referring to you website on a daily basis. One pan wonders are my favourite go to dish, so any new or revisited recipes that you come up with would be amazing. Any BBQ ideas would also be appreciated, oh and did I mention seafood? Keep up the great work that you do.
