It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Greetings from Maine, USA! How about home-made dog food? You mentioned making meals for Dozer. We also make our dogs’ food from scratch, and are always looking for new ideas.
Hi Nagi, I would like you to continue to provide us with wonderful and tasty recipes. Sure healthy options would be great however, we do like your recipes as is. Maybe offer healthy options at the bottom of the recipe, like what you do when you write about substitutions. I also love the idea of a complete meal menu, app, main? Hugs to you and Dozer from Ottawa Canada. One last thing, I think we share the sam taste buds because, I love all your recipes. A little sweet and a little kick… oh that sounds like 2020 😉
Lunchbox ideas would be great. Anything with noodles as I adore them. I like all the recipes you do and have many of them whilst in lockdown. Keep doing what you do fabulous recipes that are easy to folllow.
A grateful cook from the uk.
Happy New Year Nagi and Dozer!! Always more Dozer..I love the Complete Menu’s. What about Hawaiian, Brazilian and Philippine..including Lumpia??

More party / catering for friends/ less plates/ more finger food / next to the pool food / would be so nice.
In South Africa with our lovely weather, we having friends over a lot.
I just love your recipes Nagi; so thoroughly set out and explained very clearly.
I would like to see more slow cooker recipes including brisket. Also some more fish and Thai recipes.
Oooh! Mick – I have a giant brisket in the freezer and I was wondering what to do with it! I’ll do another slow cooker brisket recipe 🙂 N x
P.s. hilarious about bananas btw. Banana infused ham sandwiches was some funny stuff. And of course….ALWAYS more Dozer sweet boy😊
Light hearty simple meals. That are light on the stomach but filling. Would love some keto recipes too.
PS: we tried many of your recipes. loved your post where you velvetize chicken breast before stir frying! We tried it and never looked back. Total game changer!!
400 calorie dinners please !! for those of us on intermittent fasting. Love your blog
Hi Jen, have you had a look in this section here? They are all under 500 🙂 https://promotown.info/category/dietary/low-calorie-recipes/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
My son in law likes Indian food such as spinach and paneer. Any ideas what to make for him. He is a vegetarian too.
Palak Paneer is on my list of things Dorothy!!! N x
Speaking of indian curries – Indian lamb saag/saagwala made with spinach
Ideas you ask for – what about some herb/spice mixes? Every time I like a store bought herb/spice mix, they stop making it. I would like to make my own, ie, for steak or fish and with no added preservatives or too much salt. Thanks. Love your recipes.
A filter on meals great for bulk cook up/freezer/family
I love the ‘quick and easy’ filter – would be great to also have a filter on ‘how are you feeling’ eg healthy/veggies or ‘binge’ – agree with others here, post lock down it would be great to be able to navigate to healthy options easier please!
I think it would be great to showcase dishes suitable for diabetics. It’s frustrating to filter through google and most results are low carb/low cal, but not necessarily suitable for that dietary requirement. It definitely requires some creative solutions since you need to avoid common ingredients.
More vegetarian recipes would be welcome (kind of inspired by the fridge leftovers you covered a while back). Maybe some Vietnamese dishes? North African dishes would be nice too – lots of delicious food from that region. 🙂
Thank you for all the work you put into your recipes Nagi 🙂 They are so easy to follow and tasty! Seeing Dozer is an added highlight 😉 My request is more gluten-free meals and simple healthy week night dinners.
A Thai Penang recipe pleaseeee!!!
Your blog has turned me into kitchen goddess! I along with my family and friends thank you from the bottom of our hearts … and tummies ☺️ Can I please please please get more cookie/biscuit recipes?? Bless you Nagi.
I want sinful food, not healthy food. Ok well every so often something healthy but I also want the bad stuff. Deep fried, greasy, sweet and sticky, you get the idea. I also want some Air Fryer recipes and Asian recipes with broccoli. I love broccoli as long as it is not boiled. Thanks for asking.
Hi Nagi and of course Dozer.
Happy New Year to u both.
