It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi!
I would like to see more of your copycat and takeout recipes. Also more of your sweets and baking recipes they always are foolproof so I don’t hesitate to make them. Also I would like a monthly or quarterly edition of “Dogue”.
Thank you for your amazing blog and keeping me exited about Cooking and food all year round!!!!
Love from Jules
I would love to see more complete dishes and one pot meals that incorporate more veggies and less meat. I tend to find recipetin recipes quite meat-heavy. I know there are salad recipes but would love if the veggies were already incorporated into the meal rather than having to create a separate side.
Other than that, the recipes are delicious!
I am not a good cook, however, after using your recipes I have become so much better and cook much tastier food. You provide great instruction and I don’t have to have 100s of ingredients. I really appreciate all you do. One thing I would like to see more of is meals to freeze please.
Thank you for saving me in the kitchen.
Now I know why I can’t find banana muffins on your site 🙂
I’d love specifically a Korma recipe – as I use packaged sauce currently, and as your butter chicken is the best, and no longer need the sachets for that, I’d love the Korma to match.
Generally, maybe meals that are ideal to take to a friend in need of some food and care? At this time, we can’t always share a meal together. I appreciate so many of your meals do have freeze and reheat options already.
Hi Nagi … been a grateful follower for many years and continue to enjoy your new and updated recipes. I would like to see more recipes with white fish (as opposed to salmon) and prawns (raw or cooked). These can be entrees or mains, steamed / baked / stir fried or fried. Your Singapore Noodles still my favourite … the addition of curry spice completes the dish. Best wishes for 2021.
Hi Nagi,
I looooove your site and recipes.
With the increased challenges of Covid – I would say healthy lunches to help with weight gain and increase veg consumption, freezer friendly (to help when isolating without needing to turn to takeaway), understanding substitutions (because you have taught me sooo much and our supermarket shelves aren’t what they once were), and healthy one pot or set and forget (because – time poor). Also home made take away (or fakeaways) – done better at home.
Really – anything you do, I’ll support you. Much love
Hi Nagi,
BIG Fan.. you shaped my eating of 2020 and I look forward to what culinary delights you help me master in 2021! THANK YOU (and Dozer!)
I’d love more meat fresh salads that last for a few days to cover work lunches. As I get older, I am realising my body doesn’t process meat as well as it once did. I love a good meaty dish, but eliminating meal at lunchtime seems to work a treat. My faves of yours are the Greek Marinated Chickpea Salad and the Light Dressing Broccoli Salad.
I also don’t eat cane sugar and keep carbs low, but I can usually adapt all your recipes myself, but any additional inspo on the low carb front would be very welcomed!
Thanks again Nagi!
Correction… that should say meat FREE fresh salads.
Hi Nagi, keen for some more complete menu ideas – I followed your Arabic feast menu once and it was a hit! Would also love some weekday lunch and roast recipes. xx
Hi Nagi, our family loves your food!! Thank you. I would love to see some freezable kids lunch box ideas please.
Hello from Hawkes Bay New Zealand.
I love stir fried Vegies but I can’t seem to get the sauce quite right. I would love to know how to make the sauce that you get from Asian restaurants.
Many thanks Nagi for letting us do this.
Hi Lorraine, like a Chinese style sauce? try this one: https://promotown.info/vegetable-stir-fry/%3C/a%3E N x
Thanks Nagi. I will be making this sometime this week.
Nagi: Many thanks for the recipes – they have made my daily cooking for the family much more interesting. I have plenty of main dishes on file – what I need are some interesting vegetable side dishes.
Thanks, a Brit, Aussie, Texan (and 3 passports to prove io!)
Hi Nagi,
I work shift and when I work evenings I would love dinner recipes I can prep in the morning and then later in the day my kids and husband can easily throw them together.
Thanks
Monika
Hello from Melbourne!!
Thank you Nagi for sharing your recipes. we turn to your website on a weekly basis to plan our meals for the week. And my go to vanilla sponge cake is my go to cake recipe 🙂
With summer here, can you please share some barbecue recipes?
Mot definitely Joanna! In the mean time take a look here: https://promotown.info/category/collections/grilling-ideas-and-recipes/%3C/a%3E N x
Hi Nagi,
I work shift and when I work evenings I would love dinner recipies that I can prep in the morning and in the evening my kids and husband can throw together quickly by themselves!
Thanks
Monika
Hi Nagi. I found you through a Mac n’cheese search 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since! More Freezer friendly (if you could make this one of your searchable categories on your site that would be so helpful) and more slow-cooker are on my list. Would also love to see recipes (or maybe it’s just ideas/suggestions) for “cook once, eat twice”. People in our area are always looking for things to do with their kids/families since well, COVID. Perhaps recipes that are suggested as group-friendly prep you can make an occasion out of? This may actually just be more of a curation of your recipes or to your point above, the all in dinner party….
Great suggestion Carrie – thanks! N x
Love your site, Nagi. My favorite recipe is the Hot and Sour soup. I’d love to see more pics of Dozer when he was a little puppy. Thank you for all you do! Lisa
Oh yes!!! N x
Hi Nagy – thanks again for the excellent blog. For 2021, I’d request ‘more seafood, more greens, more vegetables’! Also, how do you get the Dozer hair out of the pool? Our dog Eva is banned from the pool. After a swim the water looks like a semi set jelly of suspended malamute fluff 😂
Hi Nagi- loving your recipes. Would love a good recipe for Swiss steak. Your split pea soup recipe is in the crockpot right now with my Christmas ham bone! Can’t wait to try it tonight! The
Hi Nagi,
I have followed you for some time now and am grateful for all your tasty recipes. I am beginning to learn baking and would like a basic sponge cake recipe to bake on a sheet so I can cut and layer the baked cake in slices with filling. There would be no leveling of cakes this way. Saw it on a British baking show.
Thanks for listening.
A recipe battle between all your followers! We give you our best recipe, and you decide which one is worthy of being posted on your site!
