Talk to me! Tell me what you want.

It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?

And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!

The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.

The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.

Thus, I turn to you to ask –

Tell me what you want for 2021!

Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:

  • More greens, less meat

  • More fish!

  • Work lunch ideas

  • More Dozer (🤞🏼!)

  • Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb

  • Freezer friendly recipes

  • Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)

  • Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort

I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.

So, talk to me!! – Nagi x

PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!

PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢

I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.

And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)

Life of Dozer

Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

Dozer jumping into pool

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰

I would love a good Cornish pasty recipe. Any time I have tried to make one for my parents they say it’s nice but doesn’t taste like a Cornish pasty 🙄

More Dozer – always so much fun. I do enjoy reading your recipes and I would like to have more fish recipes to interest the family in fish.

    Hi Nagi

I love all your recipes, they have never failed me!!

I received an instant pot for Christmas and I have no idea how to use it or what can be cooked in it. I see a lot of American recipes which are sometimes hard to follow.

If you have an instant pot I would love to see some of your recipes! 🙂

    Thank you

Please Nagi, I need help with larger one day affairs (20 people), and meal planning for week long guests over the holidays. Just thinking about it is overwhelming: menu plans, grocery lists, prepping, timing, storing. You seem to do everything with such fun & ease–I need some of that!
    Thanks

Hi Nagi, I would just love for you to please make Mexican Crackle Cookies. Have you heard of them? They are a chocolate cookie with chocolate chips/chunks and cayenne pepper. They are rolled in icing sugar before cooking. Then, while cooking, they expand, making the crack effect. I had them once years ago in Fremantle, and still think about them. The bitter dark chocolate, the chilli hit from the cayenne, and the sweet icing sugar. Aaaaah, so delicious!

Hi Nagi. Thanks for posting all those delicious recipes. I have tried several and have been exploring others on your website. I have been wondering if you have ever eaten butter tarts. Judging by the desserts you post, I think you would very much like them. BTW – I’m from Canada.

Hi Nagi, I love your site and the variety of recipes. I admit my weakness with Asian dishes and it is pure happiness to try them so good. For my part, I would like to know when I make a recipe, if I can make small frozen meals with it and at what stage I can freeze them. I also love the slow cooker recipes. Congratulations on your fantastic job, always a pleasure to read from you

Thank you for all you do with your easy and flavourful recipes. When we get stumped or something is not cooking well (because we didn’t pull a Nagi recipe), my husband says “what does your Nagi do” so off we go searching on Nagi recipes! I would like to see an easy three course meal plan for that nice Sunday meal or celebration when you want to serve an appetizer, main meal and dessert. Any theme. We don’t have a dog but LOVE you sharing about Dozer!! He makes us smile and laugh! Thanks you!
