It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi,
I’d love to know which meals you make and “gift” to your friends. Like the ones you did at Christmas and dropped to people.
I also searched for ages trying to find Christmas hamper snacks that I could make and gift to friends but never found anything reliable and always on annoying American websites. Think Rocky road, sweet/spicy nuts, cinnamon almonds etc etc I’m sure you have much better ideas.
Thanks so much for your website, everything I’ve ever cooked is amazing.
LOVE YOUR WORK NAGI!!! My absolute go to. Would love to see a Recipe Tin app in the near future.
My husband has asked for prawn and pork dumplings please 😊
Food prep videos! Knife cutting techniques etc 🙂
Hi Nagi, I love all your recipes but I would like some more Asian vegetable dishes.
Also we can a member of our family who is coeliac and I would love hints on how to make your recipes gluten free by substituting something ?
Thanks. Pam
Hi Nagi, would love some Asian vegetarian meals! Would love some Asian slow cooker meals, the one pot meals are fantastic! Thank you for such a great site, don’t know what I did before I found it! It has saved dinner time in our crazy house.
Would love to see healthier (low-carb) dishes / more Persian recipes (your tachin was so good).
Two meals that I truly loved as a kid, and still love as an octogenarian are Meatloaf and chicken and dumplings.
Can you help me?
Bill
Also, I find your complete menus amazing. I had a successful Mexican themed dinner party thanks to you. More like this pls. x
I love your recipes and your website! Would love more set and forget slow cooker recipes. Also lots of fish dishes and interesting salads. Thank you!
Your recipes are the best! You’ve never done me wrong Nagi. I like anything make ahead to speed up weeknight dinners after I get home from work. Even if its just elements of make ahead like sauces to make weeknight assembly go quicker. And fish. I work beside a fresh fish market and am a total newbie to fish growing up in the prairies of Canada
Easy Crab rangoons? 🦀👍
Love your recipes Nagi! As you mentioned, more plant based recipes and perhaps any ideas on how to be more low waste in the kitchen! Best, Allie xo
Your recipes are soooo good your site has become my “go to” place when looking for a recipe. Do you have any more slow cooker recipes? I seem to always wind up making roast beef and gravy (my husband’s favourite).
Hi Nagi! Do you have any recipes that might help people who don’t much like veg to eat more? Trying to improve my diet this year, but I really don’t like vegetables that much 🙁 Cheers!
I love making tasty vegetables Cameron – take a look here: https://promotown.info/category/vegetable-sides/%3C/a%3E N x
Hi Nagi
I has been using your website for years and enjoying every recipe without fail. Recently we purchased an air fryer which is an excellent addition to any cooks arsenal. It would be fun if you added an air fryer section or notes on the recipes that could also be done in the air fryer. Thanks
Hi Nagi. I am interested in easy and healthy recipes. Your Greek chicken with the yogurt lemon marinade is a winner and i’ve made it several times since getting the recipe. I’ve also made the tabouli bean salad – recipes like those two, please!
Hello Nagi.
I’m just wondering if you have a homemade tomato relish recipe?
Hello Nagi.
I’m just wondering if you have a homemade tomato relish recipe?
So I can get a notification.
Hi Nagi, I love Dozer so definitely more of him. I don’t have dietary restrictions so no requests there but I would love to have a filter for your already posted recipes that are freezer friendly (kind of like the “quick and easy” one) or maybe adding tags to recipes and being able to filter them. Also I recently realized there’s a “good to know” category but it’s not really visible in the drop down menu so I didn’t even know that you had posts of tips and tricks, so it would be great to access that more easily and more posts about tricks and other basic recipes would be greatly appreciated (ideas: food prep, make your own chicken stock, puff pastry, shortcrust, etc )
Other than that, keep doing you! I love your website, your recipes are delicious, clear instructions and what I love most (besides Dozer of course) are your notes with substitutions and explanations 🙂
Thank you for all your recipes thus far! I am forever trying out new ones from your site and so many have been added to our regular weekly rotation of meals.
Maybe recipes like pastas, a nice beef bourguignon, easy desserts, cakes, or even some pointers on things you can bring to an event when you’re told to ‘bring a plate!’
Really just more of the same – your content is fantastic!
