It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
Hi Nagi – I enjoy all your recipes and love the variety – while I know we should all eat healthier I think your cake/dessert recipes are amazing, so please don’t change too much. Variety is the spice of life!!
I second that.
Thanks so much Karen, don’t worry – I definitely won’t be turning into a health blog! N x
Hi Nagi
I’m hoping you might add to your repertoire that classic American recipe for ‘Penne alla Vodka’!I’d love to try it and I imagine it would be unfamiliar to many Australians.
Thankyou.
Hi Nagi – thanks for the invitation to tell you what I would like more of. I really enjoy your recipes and would love some more that are midfle eastern – particularly those from countries tjat are a little less common like Iran, Afghanastan and Syria etc.
Many thanks
Suzanne
Nice suggestion Suzanne! N x
Hi Nagi! First of all I wanted to thank you for all your amazing recipies. I love them all so much!
I would really like to see more recipies that you can freeze or keep in the fridge for many days. I am a uni student so its rly useful to meal prep for many weeks by just cooking one day every so often.
Most definitely! I’ve had this one requested a lot too! N x
Hi Nagi, Firstoff I want to THANK YOU for all the wonderful recipes you share with us. I have yet to try a recipe of yours that I call a “wreck-a-pe”. Im an avid cook and I trust what I see on your site. I can’t say that for others. I especially love your fall off the bone BBQ ribs and the wild rice & sweet potato spinach salad. I personally like to regularly try new dishes, so I’m always on the hunt for new or different ethnic recipes/spices. I know whatever inspires you or catches your interest will give me new things to try out some advice is- KEEP DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING! ❤️
Thank you again and give a kiss to Dozer for me.
You’re so welcome Carol, I love hearing this!! 🥰
Hi Nagi ~ I received a Power XL Vortex Air Fryer Pro for Christmas and was wondering if you have any recipes or suggestions for me. I’m excited to use this and machine and am curious to know if I can make tempura or egg rolls for starters?
Thank you!
Hi Teri, I don’t specifically use an air fryer, it’s just not big enough for me so I stick to the oven. I’m sure a lot of my recipes can be converted to air fryers though! N x
Hi Nagi, I love your blog, my husband takes the mick out of me because I won’t use any other recipe website! I would like more vegetarian/fish recipes so I can feed my veggie relatives! Thanks, Ali
Definitely Ali – they’re on the way! N x
Please continue on the track you are on. Don’t listen to the diet people. They have oodles of sites for “healthy” food. Your food is healthy and they are very good. Oh yes, more Dozer is always good!
A mix is good though – I do have stacks of healthy recipes too! N x
Hi Nagi
I love your recipes, they’re so easy to follow. I would love more lunch box ideas for work. Something reheatable, healthy and also some vegetarian options.
Cheers 😄
Great idea Kate! N x
Just do chips with everything nagi. They’re vegetarian but fattening
I love it Kev! 😂 N x
Hi Nagi, I quite like your recipes which take a little bit longer than say a weekday quick one pot meal. I really enjoy cooking and I like to learn about the science, intricacies and to develop flavour. So I would like to see more complex recipes!
Many thanks,
Yasmin
Well there’s a first Yasmin, I can’t say I’ve had that request before!! 😍 N x
Late to the game. What about more Asian inspired dishes? Pork belly? Bok Choy?
Oh boy. SO many Asian dishes on the schedule. Always! (I am often quoted as saying “we need something Asian on the calendar!!” 😂)
Hi Nagi,
I love reading your recipes and seeing your photographs. I wouldn’t know what to add or change. Lately, though, I’ve had trouble sleeping. What about middle of the night snacks recipes? Wishing you a very good year. Joan P.
Oh I love this Joan!! N x
Of course more Dozer!! 🐾
Ide love to have more FISH recipes…please!! Thanks
The people NEED Dozer 😂 N x
Different forms of sushi bake!!!
My favorite of your recipes are the Asian and middle eastern inspired ones, plus the entrée salads, grain – based salad, and chicken and pork marinades for grilling. More of all of those would be very much appreciated. It’s nice to expand the repertoire a bit but please don’t stray too far from the work you’ve done already that made you my absolute favorite food blogger of all time!
I am single. My feedback, I would like to have features of meals for one person portion, who can’t eat too much! Can you have recipes for small eaters?
Hello!
First- thank you from Kansas for the wonderful recipes! Your recipes are easy to follow and they actually turn out!!! You have upped my cooking game! 😁
I read you’ve received oodles of healthy recipe requests. If you have time and space, and if you think it’s a decent idea, could you help with a road trip/picnic menu? Something yummy that will travel well in a cooler.
I’m a nurse, and I spend way too much time dreaming of the day post-covid when we can go camping or to the lake with friends. Healthy not required. 😂😂
Thank you so much for your time!
Hi Nagi, First of all I love your blog, it is my go to for recipe ideas. I personally would love to see some recommendations/suggestions for kitchen utensils/cookware. I know you have made recommendations (with a giveaway) for knives, but recently I had to replace a frying pan and found myself wondering, “what would Nagi say?” when trying to figure out which brand/type to buy. 🙂
Thanks again for all your work!
Nagi please could you give me and your readers a recipe for slow roast crispy duck .I would love to serve sliced cucumber spring onions shredded and shredded duck with hoisin sauce or orange fruity sauce ,but not tonsure how to do this I follow your website every day and always look forward to it well done .Marion Symons
