It’s not often we have the luxury of being asked – what do you want?
And while I imagine in many situations, that’s a loaded question for a list of unrealistic demands, in the world of RecipeTin Eats, it is somewhat more viable for me to deliver!
The list of recipe and food related ideas I have is long and never ending. New ideas get added every day, things get scratched off as I try and dismiss them. Only the very best, the ones I deem “blog worthy” (yep, that’s a technical term 😂) make it on my website.
The problem is, the number of blog-worthy dishes is very, very long. And there is only so much ground that one girl and her dog can cover.
Thus, I turn to you to ask –
Tell me what you want for 2021!
Or, what do you not want? You can ask for anything! Here are some ideas:
More greens, less meat
More fish!
Work lunch ideas
More Dozer (🤞🏼!)
Dietary specific recipes – low cal / low carb
Freezer friendly recipes
Complete menus – where I share starter/main/sides/dessert like this Arabian Nights Feast I did many years ago (and still rather popular to this day!)
Slow cooker recipes – the “set and forget” sort
I obviously cannot promise to give you absolutely everything you ask for. But I can promise that I will read every response, and what you say will shape the direction of RecipeTin Eats in 2021.
So, talk to me!! – Nagi x
PS Still taking dish specific requests on this page! This is a perpetual list that I use for inspiration, and sometimes I can provide links to recipes from other sources (if I’ve tried them) so you don’t have to wait for me!
PPS Just one thing I can’t deliver on –

🚫🍌 NO BANANA. The only “normal” food I can’t stand, a childhood hangover from all those years my mother would jam a banana in my lunchbox and there it would sit, festering in the Aussie summer heat (pre cooler-bag days) and the banana smell with infuse into everything in the lunchbox. Ever had a banana infused ham sandwich? Not good, my friends. Not good. 🤢
I find it thoroughly amusing that my mother is the master of bento box lunches but failed to even consider the most basic fundamentals of putting together a sandwich lunchbox.
And thus, I am scarred for life. No bananas!😇 (Blame mum)
Life of Dozer
Launching into 2021, Dozer style:

And PS, wow, what a response to the Interview With Dozer!! Trust Dozer to close out 2020 with the single most commented on post of the year. Stealing my thunder – and I totally love it. 🥰
full menu / complete dinner party menus and I bet you know why chinese chicken wings are better than any other wing place. Could you please give us one of your recipes for chicken wings like in chinese restaurants, so crispy and delicious.
Hi there I have just joined after printing off many of your recipes … Thank you 🙂
Do you have a recipe for Kimchi? I couldn’t find one.

Hi Nagi, I would love some more low-carb recipes (or at least better categorised).
Also, I would love to be able to better categorise ‘My RecipeTin’ so that I can make different sections for ‘Dinners to try’ or ‘Tried and loved’. etc. Thanks for all your great work so far!
Breakfast ideas to make ahead – overnight oats etc. to help save time in the mornings.
More meat-free ideas or able to sub with something else.
Anything Asian! Your recipes are the best!
Dear Nagi, I am a huge fan of yours! Your recipes taught me a lot, specially asian food. But something I miss around are good recipes for children. The most blogs shows only pasta. Thank you and I love Dozer, he is sooo sweet!!
Hi Nagi, yjNk you so much for asavi ge cooking for my family, your recipe has never fail me, you are soo awesome, I WOULD TO MEET Doozer and you in 2021 if you have a show like many year back on Food and Wine show, big hug for Dozer please.
Hi Nagi, thank you for so many great recipes. I have lots of joy cooking and also browsing through. I’d love to see a recipe for ginger spring onion fried lobster on a bed of noodles. Had a takeaway from Chinese restaurant recently – so delicious! But oh so pricey! Would love to make a version using a frozen lobster / frozen lobster tails, if possible.
Looking forward to all your new recipes!! Xx
Thank you for so many great ideas and inspiration. Your recipes are literally my ‘go-to’… I’d love to find a reliable recipe for a Beef Wellington. I’ve seen recipes from Women’s Weekly, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay & Mary Berry – trouble is they look so dissimilar from one another, it’s hard to know what to try first 🙂
I’ll third that! I love Singapore Noodles!! We like to entertain and I like to be with my guests so any make ahead menus would be nice. I grew up in Japan and live in Hawaii so love the Asian influence. BTW EVERYONE I have made your Satay Curry for is a HUGE fan-I think I’ve shared it over 50 times!! Your recipes are too delicious and you take it step by step~ Just wonderful!!
Hi Nagi,
Your recipes never fail to impress me, and your instructions and videos are clear and easy to follow! Most importantly, you also list out the substitute ingredients which is fantastic as not all ingredients are readily available to everyone.
How about Hong Kong pastry and dimsum items? Flaky egg tart is my fav but I have not found a good recipe with flaky crust. Also Yam Puffs with charsiu, Charsiu Bao, Pork Bao, Har Gao…etc.
Always looking forward to your new recipes, thank you and keep it up!
Please can you make pigeon/chicken pastilla – the Moroccan dish? It is especially tricky because of the fine balance between the amount of Filo pastry involved and the sweetness of the filling – not too much of either is key!
Your recipes never fail me and I would be so happy if I could perfect this recipe with your help.
Thanks, Nagi 🙂
I don’t know about the pigeon – but chicken possibly!! N x
Thank you for considering my request!! Have a lovely year ahead and look forward to cook more of your amazing recipes 😊
Regards, Arpita
Please please make Singapore rice noodles! I have made several recipes off of well know websites & none have given me the wow factor! A couple I just tossed into trash after a couple bites! Have made several of your dishes &/enjoyed them very much. Can you submit a decent Singapore rice noodle…please.
These kind Jamie?? https://promotown.info/singapore-noodles/%3C/a%3E N x
Yes I will definitely give your recipe a try!! Thank you for responding so quick. Q
I’ll second that! Singapore noodles please.
Hi Nagi! I would love some family-friendly recipes that can easily be adapted for various ages. I really like to be able to cook once for the whole family but have found it means I’m missing out on some of the dishes I love! Eg. I love a bit of spice but the toddler definitely does not! We love all your recipes, your falafels are a never-fail with the whole family – thanks Nagi!!
Hi Nagi,
I have enjoyed all of your recipes so far and your website is my go – to whenever I don’t know what to cook for dinner! It’s my first year moving out from home and I’ve been so grateful for all your delicious recipes that are cheap and easy to make. I’m trying to eat less meat so I would like some vegetarian recipes that also have enough protein 🙂 Thank you so much!
Please do a semifreddo recipe
It’s my favourite dessert and I think you would nail it !
Ohh yum! N x
Hi Nagi,
I am loving your recipes, guidance and your website in general Thank you so much.
Keep doing what your are doing and know you are greatly appreciated.
Rouan
Thanks so much Rouan! N x
Hi Nagi, thanks so much for all the effort you put into creating your blog, it’s one of my favourites! Your recipes never fail to impress and I’m always recommending you to family & friends. I especially love the Dozer content as it always brings a smile to the dial. 🙂
Other than just ‘keep doing you’, It would be great if you could create a collection of your low cal/carb/sugar recipes (under 500 cals per serve). I recently started Fast 800 diet to shed the Covid-curves and while I know you have lots of healthy low cal options, it would be great to have a
‘one stop shop’ for inspiration without having to browse all the other (delicious but not so low cal) recipes).
Here’s to a better 2021!
dear Nagi , thank you for all your recipes . Please more Dozer and more pizza toping
Thank you Nagi for your amazing recipes! Every one I’ve tried has been a hit!
Would love to see more low carb recipes. I know we can get these elsewhere but if they’re your recipes we know they’ll be tasty!!! 🥰❣️ (Like your amazing crustless quiche! I know if off by heart now!)
How about pressure cooker recipes?
Best eating,
Gregg
